Claire Sinclair grew anxious. "Teacher Hartwell, why are you firing me? Did I do something wrong?"
Henry Hartwell said with a wry smile, "You haven't done anything wrong. When I said 'fire you,' I didn't mean it in the literal sense. I want you to go somewhere with more room to grow."
"You're transferring me?" Claire Sinclair finally realized.
"I just wanted to get your opinion. Would you like to work at the television station? Of course, if you're not willing, I can't force you. Astoria Daily will always be your staunchest supporter."
Claire Sinclair had grown accustomed to her life at Astoria Daily. When asked to go to the television station next door, she refused almost without a second thought. "Teacher Hartwell, I don't want to go to the television station."
Henry Hartwell chuckled. "Don't be so quick to refuse. Go home and think it over. Astoria Television is also a place dedicated to justice. You can continue to fight for the disadvantaged there."
