"That's more like it." Ashley Bowen smiled, but the smile only lasted for a few seconds before fading.
She was just forcing a smile.
But Yuri Sinclair didn't see it that way. He really thought Shay had forgiven him.
How could he have known that fate was playing a cruel trick?
After shaving him clean, Ashley wiped his face again with a damp towel.
"Alright, you can open your eyes now."
Yuri Sinclair opened his eyes, stood up, and walked over to the mirror. "Hmm, you really did a much cleaner job than when I shave myself."
He hugged Ashley from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Honey, will you shave for me every day from now on? Let me be the happiest man in the world, okay?"
"They say husbands are supposed to draw their wives' eyebrows every day. How come it's the other way around for us?" Ashley chuckled, tidying up the things on the vanity.
She had already hidden away the beard shavings she just collected from Yuri.
