A chill ran down Ashley Bowen's spine. She swore she only wanted to get a decent meal. Until she could get her hands on some cash, she wouldn't try anything rash, like escaping.
But judging by his reaction, he didn't seem to believe her.
She gave a helpless shrug and walked ahead. "Second Brother, so I'm free to walk on my own now, right? Please don't tie me up again. If the locals see that, they'll think you're some kind of terrible villain."
"Heh." A smirk played on Morgan Sinclair's lips. He slid his hands back into his pockets and followed Ashley Bowen.
The moment Ashley Bowen stepped out of the suite, she was blocked by two bodyguards.
It startled her. 'Thank goodness I didn't try to escape earlier.' From the looks of it, security was so tight there was no way she could have gotten out.
"Make way. I gave her permission to leave," Morgan Sinclair commanded coldly. The bodyguards who had surrounded them immediately fell back two paces to clear a path.
