"Then what is the marriage you want? Is it him?" After a long pause, Yuri Sinclair finally spoke. It was impossible to discern any joy or sorrow in his voice.
Ashley Bowen trembled violently but still said nothing.
"If he is your happiness, I can let you go. Let him marry you," Yuri Sinclair's voice rang out again.
But now, Ashley Bowen could no longer keep up the pretense.
She slowly pulled away from Yuri Sinclair, frantically escaping his embrace. She saw the fresh blood on his neck and twisted her head, looking around for a tissue.
"Your Highness, you're bleeding. Let's wipe it off first," Ashley Bowen said, completely ignoring Yuri Sinclair's question. She was just trying to evade it.
