He turned his head and saw Caleb Forrest sitting there, his face streaked with tears.
The old beggar looked at him, confused. "They're the ones getting married. What are you crying for?"
"It's nothing. I used to have a wife, but I didn't treat her right, and she divorced me. She was wonderful, so outstanding... It was all my fault. I regret it..." Caleb Forrest choked out, tears streaming down his face uncontrollably.
'Too bad it's all useless now.'
She was marrying someone else. She wouldn't wait for him, and she would never look back.
The grand procession of wedding cars made its way to the hotel.
Many of the guests had already arrived at the hotel.
Inside, the hotel staff were bustling about.
There were a hundred tables set for today's banquet. It was an extravagant affair. The entire hotel had been booked out and decorated like a fairytale, filled with flowers that had been air-freighted from abroad at great expense.
