Grace Winslow glanced at it. It was a piece of jade, and the quality looked pretty good. She hesitated for a moment before refusing. "Sean York, you need to learn to let go. She's moved on, and you should too. She didn't invite you to her wedding, which means she doesn't want to reconcile, she doesn't want to forgive you, and she doesn't want to see you again. So, she won't accept your gift either."
"I won't deliver it for you. If you really want to give it to her, you can do it openly yourself. That way, you won't create a rift between the newlyweds and affect their future relationship."
Sean York looked at the jade that had been pushed back into his hand. He opened his mouth to speak, but in the end, just nodded. "I understand. I'll be going then. Don't tell her I was here."
Grace Winslow said nothing and turned to leave.
She got into the same car as Archer Rhys to head to the hotel for the banquet.
