"Ms. Sherman, you're here! Are you looking for Grace? She's upstairs." Hayley smiled as she went to greet her.
"Yes, I heard she was here, so I came to find her." Florence Sherman's whole demeanor had changed drastically. She was more confident now, simply radiant.
She followed Hayley upstairs.
Grace Winslow had just finished the initial draft of a design and was still refining the details.
Seeing Florence Sherman, she asked curiously, "Florence, what brings you here? Do you need something from me?"
"I'd like you to design some everyday outfits for me. I can't very well wear formal gowns everywhere I go, can I?" Florence Sherman said with a smile, sitting down on a nearby sofa.
Grace instinctively glanced at Hayley.
Hayley had her own plans. If Grace agreed to it on the spot, it might interfere with what Hayley had arranged.
