The mother and son were in the middle of a happy play session when Leona Grant's sudden roar gave them both a huge fright!
"WOOF WOOF WOOF!" Stuart barked a few times at Leona Grant.
Annabelle Linton looked at her frightened dog, then frowned at Leona and said with displeasure, "What do you think you're doing?"
After speaking, she quickly turned to soothe the dog, stroking Stuart's back—the very picture of a gentle, doting wife and mother!
"What do you mean, 'what am I doing'? It's you!"
With a dark expression, Leona Grant pointed at Stuart in Annabelle Linton's arms. "Why did you bring him home? And you're even holding him!"
"He's my son." Annabelle Linton had no idea why he was suddenly acting so crazy; it was completely baffling. "What's wrong with you?"
Seeing her completely clueless expression made his chest ache with anger.
'She doesn't even know why I'm angry!'
"I'm allergic to dogs. Send him away!" Leona Grant ordered irritably.
Annabelle Linton was left speechless.
