He was taking in his surroundings when Annabelle Linton's voice suddenly called out—
"Leona, hurry! Run! Don't worry about me!"
Leona Grant looked over and saw that he was running, pulling Annabelle Linton by the hand. She couldn't keep up.
Their clothes were torn, and they looked utterly wretched.
'This looks like the year I was nineteen, the time I was kidnapped. But why don't I remember this part of it...?'
'Or rather, I know I was kidnapped, but I had no idea Annabelle Linton was there.'
Leona Grant turned his curious gaze toward Annabelle Linton.
Annabelle Linton couldn't run anymore. She pulled her hand free and said between gasps, "Leona, you go on ahead! Don't worry about me. I planned this with Vivian before I snuck in. I would come save you, and she would call the police. You're the one they're after, not me. They probably won't do anything to me. Go, quickly!"
'Vivian?'
The Leona Grant outside the dream felt a sense of foreboding when he heard that name.
