At that moment, Ian Shaw finally understood why that ambulance had arrived so quickly. He clenched his fists, pushed through the crowd, and strode to the woman sitting on the floor. He knelt, his eyes red, and said in a furious voice, "The ambulance isn't coming."
"Mr. Shaw, please, you have to save Miss Joyce!" The waitress clearly recognized Ian Shaw. Her voice trembled as she pleaded.
Ian Shaw said nothing more. He simply took Aria Joyce from the other woman's arms. Holding the woman, who had been unconscious for who knew how long, he walked unsteadily toward the elevator. Several waitresses hurried to follow him inside.
Ian Shaw looked at the crowd of people. Suppressing the tremor in his heart, he said coldly, "Two of you, come with me to take Miss Joyce to the hospital. The rest of you, figure out how to notify the Joyce Family immediately."
