Hearing Archie Lockwood's words, a glimmer of hope sparked in Yara Ross's eyes. She asked urgently, "Mr. Kent, what do you mean by that?"
"You don't need to concern yourself with what I mean, Mrs. Bishop. Go back and tell Miss Bishop that I'll be waiting for her at the Vance Hotel at nine o'clock tonight."
"A hotel?" Yara Ross's expression turned grim.
'Could it be that this Mr. Kent isn't actually dating Eleanor?'
Archie Lockwood raised his hand and glanced at the time on his watch. "Mrs. Bishop, is there anything else you'd like to say?"
"Alright. I'll tell Eleanor to go to the hotel and wait for you. It's just... Mr. Kent, the money..." After much hesitation, Yara Ross finally agreed. As long as it could help them pay off their debts, pushing Eleanor out there once didn't seem like such a great loss.
Archie Lockwood sneered and glanced at Louise Jordan, signaling for her to take out a check.
