Qi Ying clutched his chest as if he had been dealt a devastating blow, but Wen Ming didn't spare him another glance. "I thought my position over the past few years has been perfectly clear. We've stayed out of each other's lives, and let's keep it that way. My friend is waiting for me, so I'll be going now."
Leaving him with those words, Wen Ming turned to leave. But she'd barely taken a few steps before Jiang Hua appeared out of nowhere. "So heartless..."
Wen Ming glanced at him. "Mr. Jiang, a man who's spent years playing the field, is calling *me* heartless? Between the two of us, who's the colder one?"
