Since Qian Meiyu and her aunt both had their own agendas, they were both scrambling to talk to Li Zhi, completely ignoring Dingzi. Li Zhi just gave noncommittal responses, so the meal was rather unpleasant.
Once the meal finally ended, the waiter tallied the bill, and Dingzi paid.
"Do you guys want to find a place to hang out?"
Li Zhi asked.
Qian Meiyu blushed as she glanced at Li Zhi, then looked over at Dingzi. She had no objection to going out.
"Sure, let Dingzi and Meiyu go have some fun. They need to spend time together, or how else will they get to know each other? Let's not be a bother to them. If you two are free, why don't you come over to my place for a bit?"
Qian Meiyu's aunt nodded, but her intention was for Dingzi and Qian Meiyu to go alone.
Li Zhi was exasperated. 'I really don't want this,' he thought. 'I'm not the one on the blind date, so why are they involving me?'
"Auntie, if we go, let's all go together. The more, the merrier."
