"Okay, see you tomorrow."
After hanging up, Laura Lowell stood by the window for a moment. She only turned around when she heard shameless, suggestive sounds coming from the hallway behind her.
What she saw nearly made her die of embarrassment.
Ethan Shaw was pinned against the wall by a woman who was brazenly caressing him, completely oblivious to anyone else. Her manicured hand gently lifted his chin. "Mr. Shaw, why don't we get a room and... thoroughly discuss the details of the contract?"
Ethan Shaw coolly removed the woman's hand. He calmly adjusted the cuff of his suit before speaking in a measured tone, "There's nothing to discuss. Far too many women try to seduce me, and I'm not so desperate that I'll accept just anyone."
The woman was an actress who'd had roles in a few TV shows, but none had made her famous. She'd met Ethan Shaw at a gala a few days prior and had been targeting him ever since.
