Jolene Joyce wouldn't have had the god-like ability to make all the major media outlets pull down those videos and photos. She couldn't have done that.
"It was Dr. Shaw. He called me last night and said he would take care of it, and that I shouldn't bother you."
A warm smile touched Laura Lowell's delicate face. 'So he's been doing so much for me behind the scenes.'
"I understand, Jolene."
After hanging up, Laura Lowell sent Aiden Shaw a message, reminding him to come home for breakfast tomorrow morning.
Aiden Shaw must have been busy. Laura Lowell waited for a long while, but he never messaged back. Drowsiness eventually took over, and she drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, Aiden Shaw finished his rounds at the hospital and drove home. He took a shower, changed his clothes, and then headed to Laura Lowell's place.
He expected her to still be asleep, but when he opened the door, he found Laura Lowell in the kitchen, busily working while wearing a baby pink apron.
