Ethan Shaw's tone was firm, leaving no room for argument. He immediately pulled Laura Lowell into the elevator.
Laura Lowell pursed her lips awkwardly. 'Boss, are you out of your mind?'
'What's gotten into you?'
Not far away, Phoebe Sterling, who was hiding in the stairwell, photographed the entire scene.

In the car, Laura Lowell sat quietly in the passenger seat, not saying a word.
Inside, however, her thoughts were a raging sea.
'Could it be... My boss has a crush on me?'
Laura Lowell thought so hard her brain felt like it would explode. But aside from that, she couldn't come up with any other reasonable explanation.
Laura Lowell cleared her throat, choosing her words carefully before speaking. "Um, Boss... I have a boyfriend. You know that, right?"
"Yes, I know. Dr. Shaw."
Ethan Shaw replied nonchalantly as he calmly turned the steering wheel.
