Damien Valerius stared at Aurora Sterling's serious little face, on the verge of losing his temper. Before he met Aurora, he'd always been a self-centered person—willful and reckless. With the exception of his mother, he had never truly cared about anyone else's feelings.
But after he met Aurora Sterling, his entire rhythm was thrown off by this stubborn little wildcat. On the surface, it always seemed as if Aurora was under his control, powerless against him. But in reality, only Damien himself knew that chasing and clinging to Aurora so shamelessly was completely out of character for him.
