The little girl's mother stared blankly at Damien Valerius, and her gaze quickly began to irritate him. A chill crept into his eyes. When the mother noticed, she hastily looked away, inwardly terrified by his ice-cold glare. She hugged her daughter tightly, not even daring to lift her head.
