Hearing Timothy Sterling's words, Mrs. Sterling's face darkened. "Since you've all made up your minds, why bother discussing it with me? Just do as you please."
Although Mrs. Sterling had been quite disappointed in Timothy Sterling lately, he was her son, after all. She didn't want to cause a major rift between them over Joy Dalton.
'It might be for the best that the woman is moving in,' Mrs. Sterling thought. 'Keeping her here under my nose is better than letting her run around outside, constantly stirring up trouble.'
Sharon Sterling's gloomy mood vanished the moment she heard the news. She excitedly grabbed Timothy Sterling's arm. "Dad, is it true? Is my mom really moving in?"
Timothy Sterling nodded. "Yes."
"That's wonderful! Our family can finally be reunited!" Sharon Sterling exclaimed, completely oblivious to her surroundings.
'Your family?'
Aurora Sterling sneered. 'Only someone as shameless as Sharon Sterling would have the nerve to say something like that out loud.'
