The two of them went over to the rabbit cage.
Cecilia Adler squatted down and turned on her flashlight. The once pure-white rabbits were now filthy, their paws were damp, and they looked listless. "Who got my rabbits so dirty?"
Ian Quincy examined them closely. "It looks like they have diarrhea." His gaze fell on the bowl inside the cage, and he suddenly asked, "Did you give them tap water?"
"Does it have to do with me giving them water?"
"Probably. I'm just guessing."
Cecilia Adler opened the cage and took out the bowl. "What should we do now? They're not going to die, are they?"
"It's hard to say. Let's give them some anti-inflammatory medicine first and see what happens. I'll go get some." Ian Quincy stood up to leave.
