On their way home after their outing, they passed a movie theater and went in to watch a film.
As they walked out of the movie theater.
"Ian Quincy!" a clear, resonant voice called out.
Ian Quincy and Cecilia Adler simultaneously turned toward the voice.
The man wore a black overcoat. He looked to be around twenty, tall, with refined, fair features.
"Ronan Shaw. Hello. It's been a while."
Ronan Shaw said warmly, "It's been a while. Are you just back on leave, or have you returned to the city for good?"
"I'm back for good." Ian Quincy couldn't wait to introduce Cecilia Adler. "This is my wife. Her surname is Adler."
Only then did Ronan Shaw notice Cecilia Adler. His gaze landed on her face, and he was taken aback. 'She's so beautiful... and looks so familiar.' "A pleasure to meet you."
Cecilia Adler, smiling warmly, replied with a gracious, "Hello."
