The wedding banquet began.
It was a lively affair with dancing, singing, celebratory music, and face-changing performances.
Cecilia Adler watched and ate. After all the performances were over, she and Ian Quincy went from table to table to offer toasts.
By the time they had made a full round, the banquet was nearly over, and relatives in a hurry had already left.
