Tanya shot him an unapologetic eye-roll, completely forgetting that just half an hour ago, she had been thrilled to see Jade Moyer, acting just like a starstruck fan.
"Don't talk nonsense. Our company is completely aboveboard; we'd never pull strings for anyone." As she said this, Tanya deliberately glanced in Jessie Sterling's direction. 'Her boss is right here,' she couldn't help but grumble inwardly. 'How can she just stand by and watch the company's reputation take a hit?'
"Didn't you read the little booklet they gave us before we left?" Tanya asked.
Jade Moyer: "I did. It just said where we're staying, and that we have to earn our own money and cook for ourselves, or we won't have any income and will go hungry."
Tanya facepalmed. "Dude, you read it, but did you not notice the floor plan of the house in the picture? There are only five rooms in total."
Jade Moyer looked astonished. "Really? I thought they just randomly threw a picture in there!"
