Abbot Huisheng smiled. "Even with the protection of the Buddha's Light, they couldn't withstand two rounds of Teleportation. They've fallen unconscious and will wake up in about an hour."
Shen Bai didn't say much.
He didn't want to linger. After all, this trip had yielded great rewards.
"Abbot, Lord Jian, this trip was quite stressful," Shen Bai said. "I'm a little tired and would like to rest. Please call me for the vegetarian meal this afternoon."
Jian Taiwen nodded, his expression full of admiration as he looked at Shen Bai.
He was a veteran of the Observatory, stationed in Ding Division One, and was effectively the head of the entire Ding Division.
Like Liu Wufeng, Jian Taiwen greatly admired such rising young talents.
The others, however, looked at Shen Bai with peculiar expressions.
'Tired?'
'Needs to rest?'
But inside the Buddha head, Shen Bai had been full of life and energy. Even now, he didn't look the least bit tired.
'Where is this fatigue coming from?'
