once a faction joined the Star Empire, it was rare for a foolish Vassal to make a complete mess of things, thanks to the Empire's pervasive influence.
The reason was simple: if you didn't know how to govern your own people, couldn't you at least import Intelligent Mechanism technology from the Empire!
With Intelligent Mechanisms helping to manage the nation and even develop its industry, all you had to do was sit back and count the money.
Not to mention, many of the worlds conquered by the Star Empire also had newly-joined Players getting involved.
Many of these factions were, in fact, the Players' own enterprises.
So naturally, they were even less likely to screw things up.
After all, the Players' fortunes were tied to the Star Empire; they rose and fell together.
