"Why is this Mutant Beast missing a leg?" asked the junior researcher in charge of receiving this strange, mushroom-sprouting type of Mutant Beast. He was speaking to the delivery guy.
"I don't know either. It was like this when I received the shipment..." the delivery guy said.
"Oh." The junior researcher nodded, not pursuing the topic any further.
Then, he and his colleague used an electric handcart to deliver the two-ton, yellow ox Mutant Beast to one of the labs.
"Old Zhao, a new one of those strange, red-mushroom-growing Mutant Beasts just came in."
After pushing the electric handcart into the lab, the two junior researchers greeted a senior researcher who was examining some data in his hand.
Zhao Tianfu looked up, his gaze falling on the one-legged yellow ox Mutant Beast on the electric handcart.
He didn't ask why the yellow ox Mutant Beast was missing a leg. Instead, he started walking toward a massive metal platform in the center of the lab as he spoke.
