The bright hospital room was crowded with members of the Warner and Morgan families.
Although Alvin Morgan, lying on the bed, had regained consciousness, his eyes weren't fully open.
"Can you hear me?"
"Young Lord Morgan..."
Just then, as if trapped in a nightmare, Alvin Morgan's dry lips moved, his murmurs too faint for anyone to make out.
Beta Morgan leaned close to his mouth, straining to hear what he was saying.
He suddenly straightened up and looked toward the girl standing in the doorway.
"Aurora, come quickly. The Young Master is looking for you..."
Everyone turned in surprise. Only then did they realize that this unfamiliar girl in the doorway was actually Aurora Sinclair.
'How has she changed so much?'
A sliver of fear suddenly rose in Dawn Miles's heart, and she found her feet rooted to the spot.
"Get over here! The Young Master is calling for you..."
Aiden Morgan strode over, grabbed her by the arm, and forcefully dragged her into the hospital room.
