GRRRUMBLE—
As Jiangg Ning was lost in thought, she suddenly heard a strange sound. Her gaze traveled over to Jiangg Yao, who had her head lowered, and landed on her stomach.
A moment later, she chuckled softly.
"And you said you weren't hungry, but your stomach is already growling. Forget it, I'll make you an appetizer. There's no need to make yourself suffer just waiting for Chen, Yaoyao."
"Hee hee, I guess I am a little hungry~"
Jiangg Yao's face flushed as she followed her into the kitchen and hugged her sister affectionately.
Jiangg Ning gently pried her sister's hands away. She took some glutinous rice cakes she had bought a few days ago from the fridge, poured oil into a pan, and tore open the packaging.
Seeing her sister get busy, Jiangg Yao looked around, then picked up a washed cherry tomato from the counter and popped it into her mouth.
