Around 9:00 on Thursday morning, Ye Lin, a junior nurse, hurried to the Affiliated Hospital's Plastic Surgery Center, only to be taken aback by the scene that greeted her.
The first-floor lobby of the Plastic Surgery Center was packed with content creators filming with their phones or action cameras. There were at least thirty or forty of them.
In the lobby, Ye Lin also spotted two large cameras of the type used by professional news organizations.
It was almost time for her shift to start, so she had no time to ask around. She rushed to the second-floor nurses' locker room, changed into her uniform, and put on her nurse's cap and ID badge.
Ye Lin adjusted her hair and clothes in the mirror. After making sure everything was in order, she jogged to the nurses' station to clock in for her shift.
