This was just one application of the Scale of Fear, directly used as an aura to suppress opponents. The effect was similar to Conqueror's Haki, but while Conqueror's Haki dazes and stuns people, the Scale of Fear instills fear in the weak.
With this, Vladimir easily gained a portion of fear energy, further solidifying his body. He wouldn't have to worry about it collapsing for at least a week or two.
"Who are you?" Jack took a deep breath and asked again.
"You don't need to know who I am. If Kaido isn't staying put at his base, where else would he be?"
Vladimir tilted his chin, gesturing to Jack. "Contact him and tell him to speak with me."
Hearing this, Jack's expression turned grim. The commanding tone annoyed him.
He considered whether he should fight, but then he took out a Den Den Mushi and dialed the number.
He wasn't afraid of fighting, but this ship would definitely be finished. This was the Mammoth, and if it sank, it wouldn't be fun.
A moment later, the call connected.
"What is it, Jack?"
Kaido's voice came from the other end of the phone. "I told you, don't disturb me unless it's important!"
"Captain, there's…"
Just as Jack was about to explain the situation, Vladimir casually reached out, and the Den Den Mushi immediately flew into his hand.
"Kaido, have you forgotten what you owe?"
