"Thanks, Little Potato—your Echoes are awesome!"
In front of the Averardo Vault, Noah happily accepted the Echo dropped by the Sentry Construct and equipped it as the primary Echo on the character Carlotta.
With the primary 4-cost Echo solved, the remaining 3-cost and 1-cost Echoes were just a matter of time.
Noah glanced at the [Data Bank] on his panel and began planning when to start exterminating the Tacet Discords in Rinascita, wiping out their entire families.
"Just... just take it as a compliment to me..."
Carlotta forced out a dry sentence, looking at the now-empty square with heartache in her eyes.
Developing a single Sentry Construct required Montelli to invest a tremendous amount of time, effort, and resources.
But to gain the allegiance of this powerhouse, it was worth it.
"Since you've joined Montelli, from now on we'll address each other using Montelli's internal codenames."
Carlotta cleared her throat lightly, a smile blooming on her face again:
"Speaking of which, you're the first member I've personally recruited. What kind of codename do you want? How about Amber—it matches your eyes."
"Call me Tall Chestnut."
"Uh, alright, whatever makes you happy. My codename is Opal, though."
"Okay, Little Potato."
"You..."
Fine, let him call her whatever he wants.
Carlotta held her forehead, no longer in the mood to argue over a nickname:
"Let's get back to the topic. If you want to become the Laureate, I must introduce you to an indispensable force—"
"In Rinascita, there is a legendary troupe that tours across the islands. They call themselves fools pursuing freedom and distribute their earnings to the poor commoners."
"This troupe is called the Troupe of Fools!"

Riding the High Heaven Messenger - Soar - then transferring to a gondola, the two figures arrived at the Fagaceae Peninsula.
A fierce wind surged in, massive heavy lead-black clouds twisting into a gigantic vortex hanging high in the sky, like a wound torn open in the heavens.
"What strong wind. It looks like a tremendous storm is coming."
Carlotta shielded her fluttering skirt with one hand while using the other to block the fierce wind from her cheek. She turned to look at Noah beside her:
"Wait a moment. I've notified someone from the Troupe of Fools to come pick us up; they should be here soon."
Noah nodded slightly, his bangs scattered messily by the gale.
Looking around, he saw the vegetation on the islands swaying dramatically under nature's wrath. Looking up, the lead-black vortex clouds held an apocalyptic grandeur.
Opening his panel, the quest list unfolded:
[Daily Quest: "Fierce Tacet Discords"]
[Quest Description: Defeat ten Tacet Discords of any type (Progress 1/10).]
[Completion Reward: Astrite *800, Shell Credits *10000.]
[Challenge (Optional): Defeat one hundred Tacet Discords; rewards doubled this time (Progress 1/100)]
Seeing this quest description, Noah frowned slightly.
Ten Tacet Discords were manageable—he could find them with a bit of time—but one hundred...
One hundred Tacet Discords would require him to run his legs off across the archipelago nation of Rinascita just to barely complete it.
As he pondered, a new green perilous quest suddenly refreshed on the quest list:
[Perilous Quest: "Winds Return to the Heights of Heaven" has been activated.]
[Quest Description: At the northernmost end of the Shores of Last Breath, legend says it is the last place where the Sentinel Imperator appeared. You arrive here only to find the area ravaged by storms...]
[Completing the perilous quest "Winds Return to the Heights of Heaven" rewards: Lustrous Tide *5, Astrite *3200, Shell Credits *80000.]
It's this perilous quest!
Noah was immediately overjoyed.
This perilous quest could be said to be the one that amazed Noah the most in Wuthering Waves.
Apocalyptic weather phenomena always stirred his heartstrings. After charging the three stone monuments, he could experience a cinematic chase sequence, bringing extreme excitement.
Most importantly, as long as he charged those three stone monuments, Tacet Discords would continuously be attracted and approach.
Such a fun quest definitely shouldn't be enjoyed alone.
"Hey, Little Potato."
Carlotta turned her head at the call, seeing Noah's eyes gleaming with eager anticipation in the dim light.
"You just invited me to adventure through the vault together. Now, do you want to join me for something even bigger?"
"Even bigger?"
Carlotta looked around, her white hair fluttering wildly in the wind, even the bow on her headband swaying nonstop:
"Here? Now? Are you sure? We still have an appointment with the Troupe of Fools' guide."
"Oh—"
Noah drew out the sound regretfully and turned around:
"Then I'll go by myself. I'll come find you at the Troupe of Fools after I'm done."
"Wait!"
Carlotta called him back, a slight arc hooking the corner of her lips.
Montelli pursued freedom by nature and disliked constraints. Receiving an adventure invitation in such an apocalyptic weather environment stirred the rebellious spirit in her bones, making it impossible for her to refuse.
Moreover, something that even a powerhouse who slaughtered Overlord-class Tacet Discords like dogs considered an adventure—she was truly curious.
As for whether this would stand up the Troupe of Fools... she could just compensate with an extra percentage point of remuneration later.
Carlotta spoke:
"I didn't say I was refusing."
"Then let's go?" Noah raised an eyebrow.
"Let's go!"
The shrill wind vibrated every inch of the land. Trees twisted and struggled under the unbearable weight, branches and leaves flying in all directions, merging with the gloomy world.
"...After settling the faithful, Imperator departed the old capital, heading northeast... On the coast, the faithful witnessed Imperator riding the waves and wind, vanishing into the clouds..."
At the center of an altar on the Fagaceae Peninsula, Carlotta silently read the information on the stone monument, her expression subtle:
"If what's written on the monument is true, then this is the last place Imperator appeared?"
No one from Ragunna could resist curiosity about the Sentinel Imperator's gossip, especially since it was clearly related to the Order's past.
Her interest piqued, Carlotta turned to Noah:
"Tall Chestnut, is this the adventure you mentioned?"
"This is just the beginning."
Noah reached out and touched the remnants of a Loong scale mechanism lying in the center of the altar, as if triggering some device—the ground hummed and shook.
"Go! We need to charge the other three stone monuments!"
The two braved the fierce winds to reach the first altar. Noah, familiar with the process, pointed to the stone monument in the center and explained:
"After activating this monument's mechanism, the array patterns under our feet will gradually light up—that's charging the monument."
Carlotta nodded thoughtfully and asked:
"What happens after it's fully charged?"
"It summons a giant dragon."
Hearing Noah's answer, Carlotta's face lit up with joy, clapping her hands:
"Oh, I get it! Like in the plays, charging three stone monuments summons a giant dragon to grant our wishes, right!"
Who knew the Order was hiding such a great treasure!
With this thought, Carlotta immediately stepped forward and activated the mechanism on the monument.
As the monument rumbled and sank into the ground, the array patterns on the altar floor slowly lit up from the center outward.
An invisible wave emanated from the altar, spreading far across most of the Fagaceae Peninsula.
Soon after, large swarms of Tacet Discords surged toward the altar in an encircling formation.
"Tall Chestnut..."
Carlotta swallowed hard, roughly estimating the tide of Tacet Discords about to surround the altar—at least a hundred in number:
"Why did so many Tacet Discords suddenly appear? They weren't summoned because I activated the mechanism, right..."
"Exactly."
"You're... you're kidding, right? Isn't this altar supposed to summon a giant dragon?"
"I never said that."
Noah shook his head beside her:
"Little Potato, your top priority right now is to uninstall that certain tomato novel app from your Terminal."
