Chapter 99 - Chapter 99: Lady in a Bodycon Skirt

If it had been earlier, he might have readily agreed.

League Investigator. Johto Champion's invitation.

But now—the vast farm had only just started. Hiyori Industrial Company, managed by Olivia, was newly established. The first batch of Hiyori brand moomoo milk was accelerating toward market release.

Would it sell? Unknown.

How could he abandon everything and leave?

More importantly—

Compared to fighting evil organizations across regions, the farm was better. Mentally and physically enjoyable. Attributes to grow stronger.

Far better than a dangerous Investigator job.

"..."

Lance was speechless.

Is this offer not generous enough?

League Investigator. Countless Trainers would break heads trying to get it. And this farm owner refused without even thinking?

The Johto Champion cast a resentful gaze.

Powerful Trainers have unique personalities. Not wanting to be bound by the League—understandable.

But assisting in apprehending a large poaching syndicate. Resolving the wild Pokémon riot crisis. A commendation was due.

He handed his communicator contact to Wade.

"This is my information. If you have requests—within my capabilities—I will assist. On behalf of the League."

Wade paused.

A Champion's promise.

His Pokémon were strong enough—he rarely needed saving. But other aspects? Hiyori brand moomoo milk would expand beyond Sinnoh. Lance's influence in Kanto and Johto?

An excellent choice to open new markets.

"Thank you, Mr. Lance."

After exchanging contacts, Lance looked up at the small figure perched on Wade's hair.

"This is Celebi? The one the poaching syndicate was after?"

"Awoo~"

Dragonite cast a curious gaze.

Wade reached up—took Celebi from his head. Helpless.

The little guy had climbed up after waking. No wonder his head felt heavier.

Forest God. Plant growth. Also a Time Travel Pokémon—rumored to possess the power to travel through time.

No wonder the syndicate targeted it.

"So cute—!"

Jenny clasped her hands to her face. Girlish heart overflowing.

For the usually serious, valiant officer—small Pokémon like Celebi were immensely charming.

Celebi broke free from Wade's hands—floated to his shoulder. Playfully kicked its fair, delicate legs.

"It's lively." Lance chuckled. Remembering when he'd first met Dragonite—still a Dratini. Warm. Natural.

"Sha~"

Gardevoir's Psychic translation.

"You want to be our companion, don't you, Celebi?"

"Bii~"

The little guy nodded.

Inherently kind. Rescued from the poaching syndicate. Watching him single-handedly prevent irreversible damage to the forest.

Affection maxed.

The Poké Ball extended—she pressed it eagerly.

[Name: Celebi]

[Type: Psychic / Grass]

[Level: 45]

[Ability: Natural Cure] – Abnormal status heals when returning to the party.

[Moves]: Heal Bell, Magical Leaf, Baton Pass, Ancient Power, Life Dew, Solar Beam, Thunder Wave, Giga Drain, Psychic, Future Sight, Pollen Puff

[Egg Moves]: None

[Equipped Traits]: None

Outsiders present. Celebi didn't transform into humanized form. She continued her original Pokémon form—flying around her Trainer.

"Bii~"

A soft hum echoed. Gentle, light green glow rippled through the entire forest.

"Piplup, Piplup~!" "The forest—it's changing!"

Dawn and Piplup looked around, eyes wide.

The Forest God had recovered. Now—she restored.

[Heal Bell] : A comforting bell sound—heals all allies' abnormal statuses.

[Pollen Puff] : Explodes on enemies. Heals HP on allies.

Trees—scorched to ash—rose from the ground. Emerald leaves swayed gently, rustling in the wind.

Shrubs—destroyed by Blizzard—returned, dotting the forest paths.

Wild Pokémon—rendered unable to battle—gradually recovered.

Beedrill held their twin stingers—flew in groups toward dim shade.

Nidoking and Nidoqueen—the little couple—walked together, heavy footsteps rumbling the ground as they disappeared.

Spearow and Fearow—clustered—flapped their wings, returning to giant redwood perches with sky-piercing cries.

Naturally aggressive. Not unreasonable.

Thoroughly beaten. Habitat restored. They returned home.

"Everyone's fine... truly wonderful~"

The cool, elegant Officer Jenny smiled.

"Bii~"

Celebi floated in the air, contentedly gazing at the revitalized forest.

Then—horror.

She'd used too much power. Accidentally opened a time tunnel.

A light curtain—visible only to her—faintly appeared in a corner of the forest.

If not handled properly—people from other timelines could enter.

Trouble!

She wailed internally—began remedial action.

Birds chirped. Dozens of Staraptor flapped their wings—carrying Trainers in Sinnoh League work uniforms.

Clean-up crew.

After speaking with the person in charge, Lance had the tightly bound hunters escorted onto the Staraptor mounts.

"Wade." Lance turned. "If farm work isn't to your liking—visit the League. Our doors are always open."

He slapped his head suddenly.

"Next time we meet—let's battle. Dragonite hasn't found an opponent it likes in a long time."

"Awoo~"

Dragonite's small eyes filled with anticipation.

"No problem." Wade smiled.

Powerful. Completely unpretentious.

After seeing them off, Dawn prepared to leave.

"Big Brother Wade—after I participate in the Hearthome Contest, I'll come find you at the farm!"

She embraced him—reluctant—heart fluttering. A light kiss. Then waved goodbye, face blushing.

Battle Trainers challenge Gyms. Eight badges. Regional conferences.

Coordinators like Dawn? Pokémon Contests. Ribbon Badges.

"Piplup, Piplup~"

"It's okay. We'll be back in a few days~"

Patting Piplup's tear-filled eyes, Dawn looked back at the black-haired youth still watching.

She had to become an amazing Top Coordinator.

Work hard. Keep up with Big Brother Wade's pace.

"Have a safe journey~"

"Mino~"

Wade echoed Master Itachi's soft sigh.

Yes. Ended perfectly.

Farm protected. System tasks completed. Dawn's affection. Officer Jenny's favor. Dragon Master's promise.

And Celebi.

In a few days, Officer Jenny would bring the ten million bounty for assisting in Hunter J's capture.

Fruitful trip.

Before leaving, the cool, elegant green-haired woman had leaned in—blushing—and asked if he'd take her drifting again.

Good at reading situations. Naturally agreed.

Was it really just motorcycle riding?

Or did she want to be driven hard like a big truck?

"Let's go. Time to head back."

Wade called to his Pokémon.

Time to rest.

"Bii~"

Celebi—originally tinkering with the time tunnel—heard her Trainer's call. Shook her head.

Abandoned. Giving up.

Forest restoration had consumed energy. Couldn't finish now. She'd added restrictions—strange people couldn't come through.

Problem wasn't very big anymore.

Nestled in Wade's arms, she sniffed his warm scent—happily narrowed her eyes.

Soon after—Hiyori Forest, Returned to Silence

A mature woman—dressed in a lady's bodycon skirt, ample breasts and hips—tremblingly opened her eyes.

She looked around the unfamiliar surroundings—confused.

"Where... where have I arrived?"
