Lucian stood on the rooftop of a building three blocks from DOV Foods, his phone pressed to his ear, the morning wind whipping his hair across his face.
He had come straight to this rooftop after leaving Rowan's penthouse and had been pacing around, redialling the contact he had been trying to reach the previous night
After a whole hour of trying, the call finally connected.
"Alina," Lucian said the moment she answered.
"I need information, please." He added quickly, not bothering with the exchange of pleasantries. He knew she wouldn't have much time to discuss with him over the phone like this.
He shouldn't have contacted her in the first place, if he didn't want to risk getting exposed.
"Dimitri?" The woman's voice came through surprised, with a thick Romanian accent. "Is that really you? I thought you had disappeared off the face of the earth."
"I did. But now I have reappeared because I need your help. It's about Radu." Lucian said tersely.
