Chapter 233 - Arvin Reaches His Limit

All of them completely never expected that the Soul Seal ritual had a high risk and would drain their husband's mana and stamina to a critical point.

Seeing that reality, Kylen felt very guilty for his demand just now. The bluish-white-haired youth was finally forced to abandon his intention and be patient after knowing his husband's physical condition which was no longer capable of performing the ritual for the second time today.

"Alright then..." Kylen muttered softly, lowering his head slightly. "I understand. Forgive me for forcing you too much, Darling. Promise me you will do it as soon as you recover later."

"Of course, Kylen." Arvin replied with a smile, stroking Kylen's hair.

Then, Arvin took out a set of official Victoriaz Academy uniform from his dimensional storage space, then handed it to his fifth spouse.

"Alrian, this is your new uniform. Put it on immediately." Arvin requested while handing the uniform to him. "We have to quickly return to the Victoriaz Kingdom before dusk truly falls."

Without wasting time, Alrain's older brother directly took the uniform and hurried to put it on.

After Alrian put on the academy student uniform, Arvin gave him an important instruction.

"Alrian, listen to me carefully. If later at the shelter house Dean Saires, the teachers, or anyone asks about your identity, just state firmly that you are Yonna's twin brother, Alrain's older brother who came to watch the tournament." Arvin instructed with a serious look. "Keep this secret tightly. I completely don't want anyone else to know about your unique power!"

"I understand, Sweetheart." Alrian answered firmly, nodding confidently with eyes radiating absolute loyalty. "You don't need to worry. I will definitely do whatever you say perfectly."

"Good! If so... let's get ready to depart!" commanded Arvin.

Hearing that order, the nine of them automatically moved closer, standing close to each other in a small circle and immediately closed their eyes in unison, preparing their bodies to teleport.

Arvin smiled slightly seeing all his spouses already understood very well what he was going to do.

After making sure the main door of the mansion was tightly locked and destroying the ice block into water vapor, Arvin spread his arms and started activating his teleportation magic.

Zap!

In the blink of an eye, they disappeared from the mansion's living room.

The air around them changed, they all had arrived in the backyard of the abandoned noble mansion in the capital of the Victoriaz Kingdom.

Thud!

The sound of something quite heavy hitting the ground was heard in the silence of the afternoon.

That sound instantly made the nine youths open their eyes simultaneously. Their eyes immediately widened in shock upon seeing their husband had fallen flat and fainted unconscious on the grassy ground.

"He truly has exhausted all his mana and his stamina limit." said Alrain with a worried tone but understanding his condition.

Without talking much, the green-haired youth immediately crouched down and swiftly lifted his husband's limp body onto his back to be carried.

"Let's go back immediately!" Alrain invited the others.

Before they started walking leaving the backyard, Allen turned to Arion.

"What about you, Arion?" asked Allen making sure.

"I have to go back to the academy dormitory." answered the reddish-yellow-haired youth while tidying up his clothes. "It's impossible for me to leave the dormitory without permission. Tomorrow, I will immediately resign from the academy and go with you back to the Astoria Kingdom."

"Alright! A logical choice. We will definitely look forward to your arrival." said Allen with a relieved smile. "Let's get out of here!"

And then, they all stepped together leaving the backyard of the abandoned mansion with Alrain walking in the middle while carrying Arvin on his back with full care.

After walking along the city streets, they finally arrived at the academy square which was still quite crowded with afternoon activities and Arion had to part ways with them to return to his dormitory.

Before truly parting ways, Arion looked at Arvin's face who was sleeping soundly on Alrain's back with a gaze full of longing.

"To be honest, I really want to kiss his lips before parting. But that behavior of mine will definitely be very conspicuous if I do it in a public place like this." said Arion with a slightly disappointed tone and let out a resigned sigh. "Please take good care of him. See you again, everyone."

"No need to be gloomy like that. Be a little patient." replied Alrain trying to comfort his ninth prospective spouse with a warm smile. "You can kiss and hug him as much as you want when we have arrived at the Astoria Kingdom later. See you again tomorrow, Arion."

Arion nodded, his smile blooming again. The reddish-yellow-haired youth waved his hand, passed by leaving them in the square, and stepped his feet entering the inner area of the academy.

After Arion left, Allen and the other seven resumed their journey towards the shelter house.

However, having just walked a few meters leaving the crowd of the square, their steps stopped instantly.

Right in front of them, there was Elenora who was standing and waiting for Arvin's arrival to claim her meeting promise.

Seeing the large group that had just arrived, the golden-haired woman's eyes were immediately fixed on the figure of the man she really wanted to meet.

However, the princess's forehead immediately furrowed deeply upon realizing the man was unconscious on someone else's back and she immediately stepped quickly approaching him.

"Wait a minute! Why is he being carried on your back like this?" asked Elenora confusedly, unable to hide the lines of anxiety on her face. "What exactly has happened to him?"

Seeing the worry from the princess, Alrain who was carrying Arvin smiled friendlily and reassuringly.

"Ah... calm down, Princess Elenora. He is just very exhausted." answered Alrain with a polite tone. "His body really just needs total rest today. If you really want to meet him, I strongly suggest that you meet him tomorrow morning at the arena instead."

Hearing the explanation and seeing for herself Arvin who was sleeping so soundly, Elenora let out a soft sigh. The woman had no other choice but to yield and postpone her intention of meeting with Arvin today.

"Alright then. Please give him my regards and make sure he rests well."

After saying goodbye to them, the woman walked away leaving the Victoriaz academy square.

After Elenora's departure, the eight youths resumed their delayed journey, taking their husband back to the shelter house so they could immediately lay him on the bed.
