Chapter 230 - Demands and Shocking Realities

In the bathroom, the hot lovemaking had ended, leaving Arvin and his fifth spouse slowly cleaning their bodies.

"Yonna, there is one thing I want to ask you." Arvin said, breaking the sound of splashing water while enjoying the gentle touch of his spouse's hands soaping his chest and arms.

The green-haired youth stopped his rubbing for a moment, looking at his husband's face. "What do you want to ask, Sweetheart?"

"With your unique magic power..." Arvin opened one eye, staring straight. "...can you change someone's gender other than yourself?"

The question made the green-haired youth fall silent. He looked down for a moment, thinking about the limits of his ability.

"I don't know for sure." he answered honestly, his tone implying reasonable doubt. "I have never tried channeling it to change the form or gender of other people. All this time, the magic worked like a defense instinct and a curse that only bound to my own body. But... if someday you really need it and ask me, I will definitely try it."

"Okay!" replied Arvin with a sigh of relief.

Hearing the answer that there was a possibility for it was enough to give him a glimmer of hope, a satisfied smile etched on his lips. His brain, which was always full of strategies, had already started thinking about the potential of that power.

"By the way, do you already have a name that you will use permanently as your identity in this male form?" asked Arvin curiously.

A gentle smile instantly adorned the youth's face. His hands moved again soaping his husband's arms.

"Actually, I had thought of my male name a long time ago, even before you came to see me." he answered with sparkling eyes. "I want to use the name Alrian, which I deliberately chose so it sounds harmonious and not much different from my brother's name, Alrain."

"Alrian... A very good and dashing name!" praised Arvin enthusiastically, truly liking how the name was pronounced. "Then it's decided. From now on, I will always call you Alrian!"

The green-haired youth smiled even wider, his eyes implying deep gratitude. A feeling of happiness that could not be described with words was flowing through his entire bloodstream. He was no longer just Yonna the receptionist, but Alrian, the fifth spouse to the person he loved so much.

After rinsing their bodies thoroughly, the two of them quickly dried off, put on comfortable casual clothes, and stepped out of the bedroom to rejoin the others.

As soon as the two of them set foot in the living room, the atmosphere that was previously filled with soft chatters suddenly fell silent. The presence of Arvin and Alrian had indeed been highly anticipated by them.

However, before Arvin could even greet them, Kylen, Dylan, Davin, and Arion immediately got up from their seats and walked quickly towards him. The four of them stood in front of him like a line of prosecutors.

"Daling, answer my question honestly!" shot Kylen directly. His blue eyes stared intently at Arvin, demanding the absolute truth. "Is it true that you and the four of them have become immortal humans?"

Hearing the blunt question thrown by the prince, Arvin was slightly taken aback. He glanced briefly at Allen, Alrain, Ordion, and Alvein who only returned his gaze with innocent smiles.

He also immediately realized one thing: while he was making love with Alrian for the Life-and-Death contract, his four spouses had exposed all their secrets.

Arvin glared sharply at Allen, Alrain, Ordion, and Alvein.

Seeing that sharp gaze, the four of them understood that the mistake they made was saying what they shouldn't have said.

"Yes, that's true!" answered Arvin honestly, his voice flowing calmly in the living room, having no other choice. "The six of us are immortal humans. Is there a problem with that?"

The direct confession from Arvin's lips seemed to shatter the remaining doubts in the hearts of the four of them.

Right at the next second, panic and demands from them exploded simultaneously.

"My Beloved, can you make us immortal humans too like the six of you?" asked Dylan, his red eyes radiating a hopeful plea. He grabbed Arvin's arm gently. "I want to be able to be with you and with them in this mansion forever until eternity."

"You obviously have to take responsibility, My King!" chimed in Davin not wanting to lose, his tone firm but his light purple eyes looking worried. "As the person who was already presumptuous and successfully melted my heart completely, you cannot let me just die! Make me immortal too like you and them!"

"My Star, can I... can someone like me also become immortal?" asked Arion interrupting with an anxious tone, squeezing the hem of his shirt. He was very afraid of being left behind and being the only mortal among them.

"Darling!" exclaimed Kylen with a disappointed tone mixed with an adorable pout. The bluish-white-haired prince crossed his arms over his chest. "Do you really have the heart to want to see this cute face of mine wrinkled, become an ugly old geezer, then die into bones? If you don't want that tragedy to happen to me, quickly make me an immortal human like you right now!"

Hearing the overlapping and very emotional barrage of demands from his four spouses, Arvin could only massage the bridge of his nose and let out a resigned sigh. Their behavior was truly troublesome, but at the same time, it felt very heartwarming.

In the midst of the commotion, Arvin's attention was suddenly fixed on one specific call he had just heard.

"Wait a minute... Arion! Did you just call me My Star?" asked Arvin slightly surprised.

Arion nodded quickly, not a shred of doubt on his face. "Yes, because you are the star of my heart!" he answered full of sincere pride. "When I was truly lost and drowning in the darkness of fate as a slave, you were the star that shone the brightest, shining on me with hope and stepping in to give your help. That call is very fitting for you."

Hearing the so pure and emotional reason behind the call, Arvin smiled very happily.

Then he neutralized his expression and looked at Kylen, Dylan, Davin, and Arion in turn again.

"I understand your worries. But, listen to me carefully!" Arvin said with a serious tone, making the living room quiet again. "The fact is, right now I only have two Elixirs of Immortality left."

Hearing the words "only two", the facial expressions of the four youths instantly turned tense.

"And from the beginning," continued Arvin honestly, staring straight, "those two remaining elixirs were indeed planned and reserved to be given to Dylan and Arion, because the two of them had already been in my main target before this tournament started."

Hearing that absolute statement, Dylan and Arion simultaneously let out an extraordinarily long sigh of relief. The heavy burden in their chests seemed to be lifted, realizing that eternal life with the person they loved had been guaranteed from the start.

However, a very contrasting reaction was shown by Kylen and Davin. Their shoulders slumped, their facial expressions turned very pale and tinted with deep disappointment. The fact that there were no elixirs left for them felt like a delayed death sentence.

"Then... then what about my fate and Davin's?" asked Kylen with a trembling voice, his eyes radiating a disappointment that couldn't be hidden. He looked at Arvin with a hurt gaze. "Are you really going to let the two of us slowly age alone while you stay young? And the most terrible thing... are you going to let us fall ill then die leaving you all?"

Arvin looked at Kylen and Davin who looked so anxious and heartbroken while smiling gently. Their faces when panicking looked many times cuter in his eyes.

Arvin stepped forward and placed his hands on Kylen and Davin's shoulders.

"You two are jumping to conclusions too fast. Of course I will never let such a thing happen to my spouses!" answered Arvin calmly, his voice flowing with certainty.

Instantly, a glimmer of hope lit up again in Kylen and Davin's eyes.

"If you cannot drink the elixir, then we will use a different method." he continued explaining, his eyes radiating a strong seriousness. "You two will undergo a ritual to bind your souls absolutely with me. In other words... the process is that the two of you will die as your current selves, and then be resurrected with the same form and memories, but with souls that have become immortal because they are fully bound to my soul!"
