Knowing the lack of ninjas in the Rain Village, the 3 great villages have been sending their own ninjas to the Land of Rain to cause chaos and keep Hanzo busy.
Furthermore, they knew that the Rain Village lacked sufficient supplies and could not continue the war for much longer.
With the Rain Village being less dangerous in his eyes, Hiruzen will for now be keeping an eye on the Sand and Rock Villages.
Between the two, the Leaf Village had the advantage in the land of rivers against the Sand ninjas.
As long as the blade could win on that front, Hiruzen could be sure that the rock wouldn't last much longer either.
With this good news, Hiruzen saw nothing wrong with the appearance of another medical genius in the village.
The fact that he was an Uchiha did not change his way of thinking because he was only a medical ninja and Hiruzen saw no danger in him.
That was the type of Uchiha that Hiruzen liked.

Furthermore, most of the Senju clan's blood still lives on in the blood of many in the village, so you won't feel too bad when dealing with these remnants of the Senju clan.

With his right side injured and only one Mangekyo, Danzo returned to one of his bases and successfully transplanted Kagami's Mangekyo.
Feeling the new power in his body, Danzo wasn't so happy because the damage Kagami caused to the right side of his body made his strength decrease considerably and took him further away from his dream of becoming Hokage.
Now it was no lie that he was injured and he covered his right side with bandages and hid Kagami's Mangekyo Sharingan with Fuinjutsu.
Of course, not all the news was bad, otherwise Danzo would have been even more frustrated.
He discovered Kagami's eye ability and became even more jealous of the Uchiha because they had such a convenient trap.

It was ironic that Hiruzen, being the target of their jealousy for being Hokage, was the one who could give them the most benefits because he was able to use their trust in him and their love for the village to give Root some freedom and resources.
As long as the seals on the bandages concealed the Mangekyo, Hiruzen could not sense the Genjutsu persuading him.
Danzo lamented that Genjutsu wasn't stronger enough to directly take the Hokage position and that he couldn't use it as much as before.
With anger, Danzo discovered that Kagami's Mangekyo was losing its vision more and more and would soon be unusable.
Given this situation, Danzo thought he couldn't use the Mangekyo efficiently and was losing his vision because he wasn't a blood Uchiha.
He was frustrated that the Uchiha clan didn't have more Mangekyo Sharingan for him to take, but he was also relieved because he was terrified that an Uchiha had the same power and could use it without restrictions.
