Chapter 91 - Chapter 91 ‘Alexander’

"I will kill those scary monsters." Rang through my head what if he finds out his family are Vampires. He takes a step down the second floor. It was full of ghouls Charles ripped through him. Like a bloodthirsty beast that was waiting to. As the last one turned into ash.

"I wonder-" The vampire started before Charles killed him in an instant. Burning him to ash with Starlight.

"Go to hell." Charles cursed. As he walks down the stairs to the main level. As there was such a massive army of ghouls. They charged at Charles.

"Foolish." I said under my breath. Charles charged again as he slammed the first one to the wall. Splat. Its blood covered the wall like red paint.

"Starlight: August Whirlwind." Charles howled as he destroyed them. Their blood flowed into those weird vents. They turn into ash.

"What do the vent do?" I asked myself maybe it made it easier to clean up the body.

"Where are you Alexander!" Charles howled. He punched the ground, shattering the wood below him. But a barrier stopped him. Charles snarls at this.

"Such a brute." A voice said as Charles turned around to see a Vampire who smiled. He taunted Charles to come closer. Charles rushed at him in a blind rage and he jumped back. Charles slammed into the wall. As Charles was about to land a punch a child ghoul jumped in the way of the blow.

"Stop dodging!" Charles roared in pure rage. As the vampire gave a smug smile. Charles swipe at the vampire he ducted under it. This vampire was fast. The vampire threw a dagger. It bounced harmless off his skin. Charles kicked the vampire and the vampire dodged to the side. Charles foot barely into the wall Charles rips his foot off of the wall, wood debris shattered on the floor. He let out a roar mixed with Starlight.

"Such a bardian. No wonder you killed your son Jackal." The vampire taunted. This set off a fuse of Charles as he rushed at the vampire again. As he was caught in red strings.

"I will kill you!" Charles roared, struggling against the red string they started to melt.

"Unlike my younger brothers who use blood control to control others and to create sounds. I use it to make blood threads to control and do a bunch more things." The vampire said. The red thread seemed to grow thicker and stronger. Then suddenly it snapped. Charles charged like dragon like horns started to sprout from his head. Once again Charles slammed into the wall, almost shattering it.

"I'm going to kill you." Charles once again roared. But then suddenly he stopped.

"What wrong are you giving up?" The vampire mocked. As Charles let out a sigh.

"No I but losing control is only helping you." Charles said. Shaking his head as he leaped at the Vampire he dodged once again.

"You're just a brute." The vampire mocked.

"Starlight: Twister." Charles said. As the cyclone rushed toward the Vampire. He ducted into another hallway. The hallway was completely destroyed.

"You missed." The vampire said. Mocking Charles waving him closer. Charles charged. Charles hitting the wall right beside the vampire.

"I crush you like a bug." Charles snarled. He swiped his claw at the vampire he barely dodged out of the way. The vampire kept jumping back as it was the main galla area. Charles rushed into the area.

"Welcome to the beginning of the end." The vampire struck a dramatic pose. The red string hung from the roof like party banners.

"You're going to die here." Charles state.

"Maybe you're right." The vampire said. As several threads shot at Charles. Charles was able to jump back to dodge.

"Starlight: Twister." Charles said as the twister flew from his hand heading for the vampire. The threads managed to block the attack.

"You're worthy of learning my name. It is Maud Blackblack, the eldest child of Alex Blackblack." Maud took a bow. A smile danced on his lips. Alex Black blood was defeated by Hellsing and Amork. But how did he survive? This was the place of his old castle before it was leveled. Darkblood wait a second. No it can't be. That would be impossible.

"Then may I ask then why are you doing all of this?" Charles asked. Maud laughed like a madman. As it slowly dies down to a chuckle.

"Well you see Father was once a great vampire baron. To regain his power he is using the blood of all these children to regain his power." Maud laughed, his smile never fading. Threads swarmed around Charles surrounding him.

"Blood Weave." Maud said as the string closed in from every side.

"Starlight: Blast." Charles spoke as an explosion of Starlight restored the threads. Maud looked impressed. With a single nod.

"Impressive." Maud said with a smile on his face. A single nod. His smile widened. Several more threads hit the ground like whips. Charles was pushed onto the defensive. Three more aimed for his head he ducted under them they slammed into the ground like spears. Charles was slightly out of breath.

"Starlight: Spear." Charles said as a spear made of starlight came out of the ground. Maud dodged it by rolling to the side. Seven threads came at Charles.

"Divide." Maud said as the seven threads turned into many dozens. Stabbing into Charles' flesh. Maud laughed; it was a deep laugh.

"Starlight: Twister." Charles said as a cyclone shot at Maud mid laugh threads tried to block the attack. But failed and attacked him head on.

"Charles, that was a stupid move!" I yelled at him and he rolled his eyes.

"Starlight: Heal." Charles said as he healed. He walks to the new entrance to the room. It was covered in darkness. We heard laughing from our side. It was Maud. He lost both arms and seemed heavily damaged.

"Okay that where father is as you know he is a Baron rank noble but he has the katana Darkblood the sword of Valentina our progenitor. But it does not fully accept him so he can't use it full power yet. But be wary of it." Maud warned us.

"Why are you helping us?" Charles questioned as Maud coughed up blood.

"Because Hellsing died I got my wish. I confirmed his death that made me happy. I only have one regret: I never met his offspring, the one blessed by Valentina." Maud said. As he started to turn into ash. "If you meet him, give him Darkblood please. Father is blinded by jealousy." After that he turned into ashes. He was gone and we looked into the forboating darkness.

"Well let's go in." Charles said, walking in. I landed on his shoulder. The darkness hugged him like an old friend. Walking down the stairs. A constant dripping sound. Such a strong smell of blood.

"How deep are you in blood?" I asked.

"About to my knees." Charles spoke. As he walked Charles let out a low growl.

"What's wrong?" I questioned.

"I am walking on corpses." Charles said. He was walking on corpses as I looked around. There were some piles of corpses above the blood. Blood was dripping down from the ceiling.

"Okay just remember why you're here." I said tempering his conviction. He started to walk forward. As he passed countless corpses some looked like they were recently dead others were just bones pinned to the wall. Charles' face was now jumped over another pile of corpses. As the blood burst up several ghouls.

"Great ghouls." Charles snarled. As he slammed the first ghoul flattening its spine was crushed. Hearing a chorus of snapping. Charles was now bathed in blood. I flowed above Charles the second the ghouls showed up. I was almost touching the wall.

"You can do this Charles!" I shouted. He ripped off the head of the second ghoul. It puffs into ash. The third was slammed into a wall and it went splat. Recoating the wall with blood before it turned into ash. Fourth one jumps onto Charles back grabbing him. Charles grabs the ghoul by the throat. Slamming into the river of blood. Blood spray everywhere.

"Goodbye." Charles said. As he brutally rips off the head of the ghoul. As it turned to ash. Two more ghouls were left and they reached for Charles. He slammed their faces together crushing them like watermelons. A loud crunch was heard. Both of them turned to ash. As he continued to walk. It was dark I could not see but I knew where everything was. The ability was by sending out pulses of Chaos energy to like a bat echolocation. It is a better form of one human Chaos Technique called Field. But it was all covered by Alex Darkblood Chaos Energy cloaking all beings.

"There is a split in the path ahead." I told him. As I heard splashing. Ghouls dropped from the ceiling. There were about nine of them. I was once in the air.

"More? How many are there?" Charles questioned as he easily tears the head off of the first ghoul. The second one lunged trying to bite Charles; it could not get past his skin. He grabbed the arm of the second ghoul and threw it into the two others.

"Something is wrong." I said. Third and fourth seemed to disappear. They dove deep under the blood. As I could feel Charles being grabbed by quite a few hands. Charles breaks out of the hold. Dragging one of the ghouls out of the blood by the hand. Charles kicked it face in and it turned to ash. The hands grabbed at him more aggressively. Charles struggled and destroyed arms that were grabbing him.

"Starlight: Burst." Charles said as a burst of Starlight destroyed them all. I think.

"Why did you not do that from the start?" I have a question.

"I am angry right now not really thinking clearly." Charles said. That makes sense. As we continued to walk it felt like hours. Pasted in those caves. Finally we saw a light. Charles shields the face from the crimson light.
