Rain Xiang Mountain — Primordial Region
Estate No. 111
At the entrance to the estate, Aitor smiled warmly at Jiang Yan.
"Your Highness Jiang Yan, I'll take my leave."
He gestured toward the woman standing nearby.
"Rose is not only the commander of your guard legion, but also the steward of this estate. If there is anything you do not understand, she will handle it for you."
"Thank you," Jiang Yan replied with a nod.
"It is my duty," Aitor said, before transforming into a streak of light and vanishing into the distance.
"Your Highness, this way please."
Rose smiled faintly and led Jiang Yan into the estate.
As they passed through the vast grounds, she began introducing the manor's facilities.
"Your Highness, that structure ahead is your primary cultivation hall."
She pointed to a massive sealed building in the distance.
"It is one hundred and fifty kilometers long, seventy kilometers wide, and nine hundred meters tall. The entire hall is forged from special alloys of extreme durability. You may cultivate inside without concern for structural damage."
"Not bad," Jiang Yan said, nodding in satisfaction.
Rose continued explaining the manor's layout—training zones, auxiliary facilities, storage areas—before finally stopping in front of a compact but elegant villa.
"This will be your initial residence," she said.
"The interior layout may be freely adjusted through the virtual assistant."
"Understood."
After entering the villa, Jiang Yan gave a simple instruction.
"Salamander, change the interior layout to match my residence on Earth."
"Yes, Master."
Moments later, the unfamiliar alien design dissolved into something comfortingly familiar—living room, study, bedroom, and other rooms arranged exactly as he remembered.
Jiang Yan stepped into the study, activated the terminal, and logged into the exclusive Primordial Region interface of the Virtual Universe Company.
He began browsing exchange catalogs—treasures, secret techniques, cultivation resources, and point requirements.
None of it caught his interest.
With the Four Elephant Spear Code, Demon Hidden God-Slaying Code, and Thunder Prison Suppression Scripture, he lacked neither path nor foundation.
Soon, a new message arrived.
It was an official welcome letter from the Virtual Universe Company—granting him 10,000 initial points, along with cultivation advice.
One line stood out clearly:
"Do not waste time cultivating genetic power or telekinesis. The company will provide free nutrient solutions. Focus entirely on Law comprehension and secret techniques."
Jiang Yan nodded.
"Reasonable."
Then his gaze sharpened.
"There's still one more thing to apply for."
An Immortal instructor.
The name Red Kite surfaced in his mind—but he dismissed it almost immediately.
If he had questions, he could ask her directly in reality and simulate guidance in the Virtual Universe. There was no need to formalize it.
Then—
His eyes lit up.
"Right. Her."
The Star Phantom King.
A peak King-level powerhouse, a peerless beauty, and—most importantly—someone who had comprehended multiple aspects of the Law of Space.
If anyone was qualified to guide him, it was her.
Jiang Yan quickly drafted the application.
The tone was respectful, sincere, and filled with admiration—exactly what the Virtual Universe executives liked to see.
After submitting it, he leaned back slightly.
"A peak King as an instructor… probably won't be approved."
"But if it is—great. If not, it doesn't matter."
He didn't need guidance.
"Your Highness."
Rose's voice sounded from outside.
Jiang Yan stepped onto the balcony and looked down at her.
"What is it?"
"Highness Ai Chen is outside the estate. She requests a visit."
"Oh?"
Jiang Yan smiled.
"I'll be right down."
Moments later, Jiang Yan welcomed Ai Chen into his living room.
"Jiang Yan, you finally made it to the Primordial Region," Ai Chen said cheerfully, her eyes darting around curiously.
"I've been here almost a week already. Bolan arrived even earlier than me."
"No helping it," Jiang Yan laughed.
"Where I was staying is pretty remote."
Compared to Ai Chen's Dream Snail Wing Clan or Bolan's Noah Universe Kingdom, Bai Lanxing was far from the Virtual Universe headquarters. The delay was inevitable.
Ai Chen blinked, her twin pink ponytails swaying lightly.
"You said before you'd teach me the Law of Time and the Law of Light," she said softly.
"I'll probably come disturb you often in the future… you won't find me annoying, right?"
"How could I?" Jiang Yan replied with a smile.
"You're always welcome."
The Primordial Region had settled into quiet—
Yet unseen currents were already beginning to stir.
