Beneath a vast blue sky, clouds and mist rolled endlessly.
Within this illusory expanse floated a massive stone table, tens of meters in diameter. Around it hovered twelve stone chairs—each occupied.
Twelve figures.
Every single one a Realm Lord–level powerhouse.
They represented the two Holy Lands, the four major organizations, and the Sixteen Great Families of the Heilongshan Empire.
The Sixteen Families had sent only one joint representative.
The remaining eleven Realm Lords all came from the four organizations and the two Holy Lands.
This was a Realm Lord Meeting.
Declarations of Authority
"I represent Sanbusan."
Jiang Tianchen stood, clad in a red battle suit, his expression indifferent.
"I represent the Ice Sea God Kingdom."
A woman in snow-white robes spoke softly, her translucent hair shimmering like frost.
"I represent the Heilong Mountain Holy Land."
An elderly bald man in black robes spoke calmly. His hooked nose and icy marks between his brows made his presence oppressive.
Hargrave.
Brolin's grandfather.
One by one, representatives of the remaining forces spoke.
Once all identities were confirmed—
"The meeting begins," Jiang Tianchen said.
The Problem: Qinya
"The entrance to the Thunder World is currently blocked by Qinya," Jiang Tianchen continued calmly.
"She is using the Thunder World's status as an assessment world of the Universe Mercenary Alliance as justification, forbidding any warrior above the stellar level from entering."
"These are Alliance regulations."
"And we must abide by them."
Hargrave's expression darkened.
"And who exactly is this Qinya?" he demanded coldly.
"The Thunder World clearly contains a Realm within the Realm. It is no longer suitable as an assessment world."
"Yet she rigidly clings to Alliance regulations to block us."
His displeasure was obvious.
Rules were dead.
People were alive.
If she simply turned a blind eye, no one would say anything.
Instead—
She chose confrontation.
The Ice Sea Holy Land's female Realm Lord also frowned.
"Yes. What is her background?"
All eyes turned to Jiang Tianchen.
Only he truly knew.
Background Revealed
Jiang Tianchen spoke slowly.
"Her teacher is the Military Commander of the Third Legion of the Ganwu Universe Kingdom."
"And the Third Legion Commander is extremely fond of her."
Silence.
Then—
"The Third Legion Commander?"
Several Realm Lords were visibly shaken.
Ganwu Universe Kingdom had over three hundred princes—nearly all Immortal-level beings.
The Third Legion Commander was an Immortal Marquis.
"No wonder she's so fearless," someone muttered.
Understanding dawned across the table.
The Only Legal Path
"Then what do we do?" the Ice Sea Holy Land's Realm Lord asked.
They could not force their way in.
That would be openly provoking the Universe Mercenary Alliance—a death sentence.
Yet the Kabu Realm Lord's inheritance—
They would never give it up.
"There is only one solution," Jiang Tianchen said calmly.
His gaze swept the table.
"We send large numbers of stellar rank ninth adventurers to participate in the Universe Apprentice Mercenary Assessment."
"They enter the Thunder World legally."
"And retrieve what we want for us."
Eyes lit up instantly.
"A clever method."
"Within the rules."
"Feasible."
With Qinya blocking them directly, this was the only lawful workaround.
Allocation of Forces
The discussion quickly turned heated.
Numbers mattered.
Whoever deployed more people would control the Thunder World.
After intense debate, the final allocation was determined:
Sixteen Families:
Up to 10,000 stellar-level adventurers per family.Four Major Organizations:
Up to 200,000 stellar-level adventurers each.Two Holy Lands:
Up to 500,000 stellar-level adventurers each.
"In that case," the Ice Sea Holy Land's representative smiled faintly,
"we'll each begin preparations."
Jiang Tianchen and the others nodded.
Their consciousnesses began to withdraw—

Suddenly—
Expressions changed.
Shock rippled across the faces of several Realm Lords.
"You received it too?" Jiang Tianchen asked quietly, scanning the room.
Hargrave frowned deeply.
"This is impossible."
"The Kabu Realm Lord has been dead for tens of millions of years."
"I don't believe it."
Realm Lords did not live forever.
Hargrave had studied the Kabu Realm Lord extensively.
The Black Cloud Society's representative shook his head as well.
"I also find it unlikely."
"But…" the Ice Sea Holy Land's Realm Lord spoke slowly,
"our people inside the Thunder World all sent back the same message."
"And consider this—"
"The Thunder World has been explored by the Universe Mercenary Alliance for tens of millions of years."
"Why was the Realm within the Realm only discovered now?"
"Perhaps it coincides with the awakening of the Kabu Realm Lord."
Silence followed.
Her reasoning was unsettling—
Yet logical.
A Realm Lord self-detonation did not guarantee total annihilation.
A fragment of soul, sleeping for millions of years…
It wasn't impossible.
Shift in Strategy
"If it's true," Jiang Tianchen said decisively,
"we only need to find Wang Zhi."
"Ammonds, Bahasi, and I are already guarding the Thunder World entrance."
"As soon as he exits, we'll know the truth."
Hargrave's eyes flashed.
"I'm already at Canglan Star's villa garden."
"And if a Realm Lord has truly revived inside the Thunder World—"
"Then according to Alliance regulations, the Thunder World automatically loses its assessment qualification."
"If Qinya blocks us again after that…"
He sneered.
"That would be unreasonable."
Several Realm Lords nodded.
"Yes. The regulations are clear."
No More Waiting
Boom—
Jiang Tianchen's figure vanished from the Virtual Universe.
If the Thunder World was no longer an assessment world—
Why waste another second here?
Whoever entered first could seize the initiative and plunder the inheritance before the Kabu Realm Lord fully recovered.

Hargrave and the others cursed.
They immediately withdrew their consciousnesses as well.
Reality — Canglan Star
In the villa garden.

All stood together.
Their gazes locked onto Qinya, who still barred the entrance.
Suddenly—
Realm Lord–level pressure erupted.
It swept across the entirety of Canglan Star.
Hargrave stepped forward, his voice thunderous.
"Move aside—now."
"The Thunder World has lost its qualification as an assessment world."
"Who gave you the courage…"
"…to continue blocking us?"
