Chapter 198 - Chapter 198: Is This Reshiram … Really Serious?

"Your Truth... what is it?"

Hearing this question, Damian raised a brow, the Telepathy+"Truth" issue. To be honest, if you can't guess who's asking, then you've wasted your life.

Isn't that our Reshiram?

Looks like Dragonspiral Tower still works here in Icirrus City; Reshiram started showing up at the door, didn't it?

But after saying this, the voice fell silent again; not sure what happened.

Watching Hilda's distant silhouette run off, Damian's lips curled slightly.

Normally, if he hadn't appeared, then Reshiram would probably have found Hilda, right?

After all, from watching the Shadow Triad battle just now, Hilda has become a formidable Elite Four-level Trainer, only this year she's a rookie who just started her journey six months ago; such strength shows her talent.

It's a pity, though.

"Kyogre, I just got Telepathy connected to me; did you pick it up?"

"Somewhat. What's up, Damian? What did the connection with the other one want with you?"

Kyogre's deep Telepathy asks Damian.

"Kyogre, a Pokémon Telepathy just connected to me. Did you pick it up on?"

"A bit of a sense. What happened, Damian? What did the Telepathy-connected guy want with you?"

Kyogre's deep Telepathy asks Damian.

Locals Pokémon can be quite rude, Don't they know Damian is Kyogre's Trainer?

If that rude guy is here to cause trouble, Kyogre will definitely make him perform a "water-spraying" act in front of Damian!

"Relax, nothing bad." Damian senses Kyogre's displeasure.

"Can you sense the source of this Telepathy?"

Damian asks Kyogre; since Reshiram came knocking, there's no reason not to respond.

Truth and Ideals, these two Dragons, Damian has always been interested in only the "Truth."

After all, when it comes to "Ideals," Damian doesn't have any grand Ideals; N's Ideals are somewhat extreme, but he does yearn for that world with sincere heart.

You could say N's Ideals have problems now, but you can't say his Ideals aren't grand or pure enough.

With N against Zekrom, Damian originally had no ideology to fight for.

"This sense isn't there." fat-headed fish replied honestly.

"All right." Damian didn't lose hope; using Telepathy to sense the other's location is indeed extraordinary.

No problem, we'll head to Dragonspiral Tower tomorrow; chances are high we'll find it there.

Damian leads Caitlin and Elesa toward Icirrus City, with Shadow Triad; Damian directly sent the three of them to the Police Department.

Worth noting: Officer Jenny almost issued a banner to Damian; Damian declined politely.

Summer is here; Icirrus City is lush with greenery; not as snowy as the online images, but a nice city.

The three of them went to book a hotel first, then looked for a place for dinner.

Coincidentally, Hilda contacted Elesa; they have each other's contact info. Hilda has returned Larvesta to its owner and plans to head back to Icirrus City with friends.

After asking Damian, Elesa told Hilda the hotel's location.

When Hilda and her friends arrived, Damian was a little surprised.

The iconic bun, wearing a fitted blue-and-white long-sleeve top, black leggings, and yellow shorts, a very youthful and sexy girl—Rosa from Black 2/White 2—the protagonist of that game!

Watching Hilda and Rosa walk in, Damian felt a sense of déjà vu; two female leads together.

But perhaps not a perception—Rosa seemed a little listless.

"Hello hello—sorry we're late."

Hilda clasped her hands, embarrassed; there were already many dishes on the table.

"No problem; the dishes just came up; you've arrived just in time." Damian smiled. "Take a seat; you must be hungry."

"Let us," Hilda pulled Rosa, who looked sleepy, to sit down.

"I haven't introduced myself yet; I'm Hilda from Nuvema Town; I just started my journey this year."

"I'm Rosa from Aspertia City, also a trainer who just set off this year; nice to meet you."

"I'm Damian from Kanto; this is my close friend Caitlin." Damian smiled in reply.

"Damian—handsome."

Rosa patted her cheek to recover a bit, eyes wide with admiration for Damian.

"Thank you, Rosa; you're adorable too."

Damian chuckled; he's confident in his looks, but not every girl who compliments him on first meeting is common.

"Many people say that," Rosa giggled, sticking out her tongue.

Hilda rolled her eyes but didn't say anything; Rosa's charm is undeniable.

Speaking of looks, Hilda isn't inferior to Rosa in looks, but Rosa's twin buns add points; Rosa's black stockings give off a sultry vibe, and Rosa's bust is clearly larger than Hilda's.

Caitlin glanced at Rosa's chest and then at her own; gods, it's changed a lot.

"Rosa, did you sleep badly last night? Your dark circles are heavy," Damian asked curiously.

"Ah—no, not last night; it's the past two days we haven't slept well."

Rosa looked dejected; for a girl who's usually in the spotlight, being told she has dark circles is a blow to her.

"Mind sharing why?" Damian asked.

"Emm… Hilda, you tell them."

Rosa looked to her sister for help.

"Recently, there's a mysterious voice in our heads," Hilda said helplessly.

"Mysterious voice?" Elesa interjected, surprised.

"Yes, it's really creepy!" Rosa rubbed her cheeks, then slapped herself.

"Occasionally half an hour, sometimes an hour; it just appears in our minds, it's terrible!"

Rosa's clearly hates this, tormented by it.

"It even interferes with battles; daytime, night, even in my dreams; I can't sleep."

"Don't let me catch it! If I do, I won't spare it!"

Rosa's rant overflows with resentment.

"Could it be a Ghost-type Pokémon messing around?" Caitlin asked puzzled.

"No, it feels like some mysterious Pokémon's Telepathy; the voice didn't show up just these two days."

Hilda shook her head, certain.

"About half a month ago, the voice appeared; I was in Nimbasa City; Rosa was in Mistralton City; yet we heard the same voice."

This isn't something you can call a haunting.

Caitlin and Elesa considered; if it's a haunting, Ghost-type mischief is plausible.

After all, mischievous Ghost-types have a history, but Rosa and Hilda's case seems different.

"What did that voice tell you?" Elesa asked.

"Truth … girl Your Truth... what is it? Tell me your … Truth …"

Rosa spoke in a hushed, mimicry-filled voice, making Damian's expression strange.

"Exactly that—every day it won't stop; whenever I respond, it goes silent again; I'm exhausted."

"I slept only three hours last night," Rosa complained.

And then—

"Your Truth... what is it?"

That ethereal voice, as if directly in Damian's mind, appeared again.

This time, Damian fell into thought because…

"Here it is again! Please, stop bothering me," Rosa's mind cried.

Hilda looked equally uneasy; she heard the voice too.

Is this a mass message?

What does this Reshiram mean?

"Why are you here in Icirrus City?"

Elesa didn't know what was troubling Damian, Hilda, and Rosa.

"Not really a good reason; it's like someone guiding us; Rosa and I just came here."

Hilda shrugged; she'd only recently learned that Rosa had come here by coincidence.

"Perhaps the owner of this voice is nearby in Icirrus City."

Hilda sighed; she's been tormented too, but Rosa more so.

Smart Hilda had some guesses, but she couldn't be sure; what is Truth anyway?

Hilda didn't know her own Truth.

"Maybe this Reshiram didn't send another telegraph to others…"

Damian was about to lose it; not only was he receiving "stalking info," but he was quietly guiding Rosa and Hilda to Icirrus City.

Is this Reshiram really serious?

Most importantly, counting himself, there are three Hero of Truth candidates on standby; who knows how many "backup" Reshiram has?

Is Zekrom planning to hold auditions here?
