Jay's Pov
I pulled up from the hug and started speaking again,
Jay: "But I still feel like I want to work, you know we do have 2 months of break "
Keifer: "Yeah, I didn't say this to you yet because I wanted to surprise you when I join the firm"
Jay: "What firm?"
Keifer: "Our company, Watson Enterprises , I was thinking of going there after a week or 2"
Jay: "That's really good news"
Keifer: "Yeah, now that I think of it, maybe you can go there too"
Jay: "Ahh, I don't know doesn't it seem unfair for others if I go there just because I know you"
Keifer:" Excuse me, you are top student with a scholarship, I think you are more eligible than me, If I am being honest"
Jay: "But still"
Keifer: "Fine, Jay one of the main reason why I want you to work with me is that because I know you are safe and near me"
Jay: "Keifer I will be safe"
Keifer: "That's what you said about being at your parent's house and we know what happened, I don't want to put you through any kind of struggle again, please listen to me this time" he asked in a soft voice
Jay: "Okay" I agreed because I did not want to put him through anymore worries because of me, he also went through something because of the things happened,\
He smiled after I said that,
Keifer: "Okay, I think we should call Mom and Dad and let them know "
Jay: "Yes" I said excitedly
We video called them and they pick out after few rings
M&D: "Hey, kids How are you guys doing?"
Jay: "We are Good, how are you ?
M&D: "Fine, we miss you guys"
Dad: "No, I miss you guys more, I am the one who was talking about guys most of the time"
Mom: "and who exactly are you talking with?"
both of them start bickering about who miss us more and it was cute, and I laughed a little
Keifer: "Guys, Guys stop fighting and listen to us we have something important to say"
M&D: "What is it? and why does Jay look a little nervous"
Keifer: "Well the thing is " He was interruped by Dad,
Dad: "Am I going to be Grandfather? is that what you were going to say?"
Mom: "What really?"
Dad: "I am really happy that I am going be a grandfather, But I am still young, I think the poor Kid will confuse me for his Dad"
Both of us them again started bickering on their own, while I was getting red because of the embarrassment and if was safe to say Keifer was too,
Mom: "You look like an old dude, I am sure my grandchild will be smart enough to see that"
Keifer: "GUYS no one is getting a grandchild, we are way too young for that"
Dad: "What then why did you say that?"
Keifer: "I didn't you assumed"
Dad: "Your poor mother started thinking of names,"
Dad: "its okay dear" he said to mom and she smacked him in return,
Mom: "Okay, guys tell me what you were about to say"
Keifer: "Well we were thinking about working in our company during this break you know, what do you guys think?"
Mom: "I think its amazing"
Dad: "Yeah I think its good too, but don't you guys want to enjoy the break"
Keifer and Jay: "Yeah we do, so maybe we can 1.5 months or even a month"
Dad: "Sounds good then"
Mom: "I am so happy for you guys."
Dad: "Yes, All the best."
Keifer & Jay: "Bye Guys, Love you🤍"
M&D: "Love you too."
Keifer pulled me to his lap,
Jay: "Hey."
Keifer: " What? We are alone here and I know you like this."
I just smiled at him,
Keifer: "Well, don't you think Dad was little disappointed when he heard he is not getting a grandchild?"
He said while drawing circles in my back,
Jay: "So?"
Keifer: "So, what do you think if we give them one."
He said leaning in closer,
I smacked him and said,
Jay: "Come on Keifer, Now I am nervous about working in your company and you go on flirting."
Keifer: "2 things, it's our company and they don't bite you when you make mistakes, they aren't evil and besides, I am going to be with you always."
Jay: "Fine." I said and lie on his chest,
Jay: "Keifer."
Keifer: "Hmm?"
Jay: "I need ice cream."
I know he will not agree to it immediately, so I showed him my puppy eyes,
Keifer: "Using your weapons well Mrs Watson. Come on."
