Alice's POV
I sat on the couch with the old photo in my hands and my fingers would not stop shaking. The picture showed Bryan and Isabella standing close together at some fancy event. They were smiling at each other like they were the only two people in the room. Bryan looked younger and happier than I had ever seen him. Isabella had her hand on his chest and he was looking at her like she was everything.
Bryan walked into the living room and stopped when he saw what I was holding. "Alice where did you get that?"
I looked up at him and my chest felt tight. "It was in the box of old things you kept in the study. I was looking for Antonio's files, but I found this instead. You look like you were in love with her Bryan."
He came closer and sat on the coffee table right in front of me. "It was a long time ago. I told you yesterday it ended badly. We were together for almost two years but it was never healthy."
