Leon wrapped the length of fabric around himself into a makeshift toga.
Should be good enough.
No longer naked, he jogged across the slope of the mini volcano till he caught up with Rika.
Her cheeks were still red despite being visibly angry.
"Why are you upset, if it was the other way around you'd stab my eye out?"
"I don't know what delusions you're talking about! And yes I would stab your eyes out if you looked! Stupid Farm boy."
"Alright, alright, I'll play nice and drop for now. You could at least be happy I survived."
"Haa... We all knew you survived instantly. You can thank Celstine for that."
"What do you mean?"
"You know how Succubus enslaves men into mindless servants?"
"Yeah? But I out heal that."
"You out heal the essence consumption effect, but it looks like you don't out heal the status effect. Celestine is able to track you at all times, as well as know if you're alive just like a normal succubus servant."
"Ohhh! And that's how you guys found me!"

"Come to think of it, Tsukihi said something about me not being enslaved as Celestine called out my location during the White Lotus spell."
"While we're on that. You saw me didn't you? How?"
"You mean in the smoke? So that was you."
"You're not sure!? You looked me right in the eyes! How could you have known?!"
"Honestly, I don't think I'm going to tell you, can't let it get to your ego."
"I'm being serious. Stealth is life or death for me. I can't afford to get caught. Was it because of the White Lotus spell?"
Leon looked at the clean air still spinning around Rika. She was doing this to breathe despite the toxic fumes of the volcano. Using her Chi to control the wind.
"You were using a similar spell to move the smoke around you?"
"Yeah. But you shouldn't have been able to tell if...Tsuhiki?"
"Tsukihi"
"If Tsukihi couldn't even tell in her own spell."
"Realistically, I don't think you have to worry about anyone else noticing you the way I did."
"Doesn't matter."
"Fine, but don't let it get to your ego. I felt the presence of Khariel, the Overseer of Death. He was there, ready to collect Tsukihi if you had continued."
Rika lost to her own mouth as she smiled wide against her will. Instead, she walked even faster to be in front of Leon.
"That's good to know... There are others who likely met with the God of death before so I need to account for that. Though... Him personally making an appearance before I even drew my blade..."
"And so my little brat gets a bigger ego"
"Shut up, Farm boy!"
Leon couldn't help but let out a laugh. So contagious that even Rika followed with a small chuckle.
"Also, here you go."
Rika threw a small wooden card over her shoulder towards him.
Leon caught the card. It was covered in the writing of this world along with a familiar symbol on the back. Though he couldn't remember where he saw it before.
"What is it?"
"Really!? It's your Hunter's license! You were supposed to go back and get it but you never did."
The memory returned to Leon. Nadu had told him to return the next day, which was why he was wandering close to the hunters guild during his 1st night.
"OHHHH! I COMPLETELY FORGOT!"
"I picked it up yesterday while you were shopping with Roselyn. I even added you as a 'trainee' of Rose Thorns. You're only tier 5, so I couldn't make you an official member. That and you're a guy, so I don't know if the others would be ok with you being a member"
Leon held the card up to the sky. He was not able to read any of it, but it officially marked him as a hunter. An adventure of this world, a warrior charged with fighting off local monsters and saving those in need.
"Thank you, Rika!"
"Let's hurry it up Farm boy, the others are waiting."
Leon could hear the blushing in her words as the two continued on. Eventually, they came into sight of the rest of them.
Valeria and Tala both laid on the ground exhausted. Celestine, Roselyn and Cersei were only slightly better, the three sitting up. The imperial knights and spies were still on their guard, standing around the group.
Tsukihi, on the other hand, was bouncing off the walls. A mix of having just been fed, Cersei questions about magic and Tsukihi finally being able to interact with others.
Leon called out.
"HEY!!! We're back!"
Tsukihi ran first, followed by Celestine and then Valeria. As soon as Leon and Rika were clear of the volcanic fumes, the 3 girls jumped him.
"You were so amazing!"
"Welcome back!"
"Nom Nom"
Celestine pulled Valeria off of Leon.
"You're not even drinking his blood! You're just nibbling his neck!"
"I can't eat in public!"
Valeria latched back onto Leon, wrapping her arms around his waist as she pressed her face into his chest.
"All you, come here."
Leon squeezed the 3 girls tightly.
"I am so lucky to have all of you!"
The 3 girls hugged him back, before Tsukihi popped her head out to look at Rika.
"Rika, come here too!"
"Excuse me? Why would I do that?"
"...You should know I ate his memories. I know everything he has done since arriving in our world."
Rika's eyes went wide.
"So what!? There's no reason I'd hug some stupid Farm boy! And do go spreading any dumb rumors! Don't think I won't stab you!"
Rika stomping off towards her party. Meanwhile Celestine's eyes narrowed as she looked at Tsukihi.
"Tsukihi, care to tell us what possible rumors Rika is worried about?"
Valeria joined in on the conversation.
"Also, do you know everything? Like thoughts and feelings too?"
"Nothing from his old world yet but he's already so amazing! My favorite is either when he first saw me or when he thought..."
"Ok, hold up! You have to eat my memories, so I'm ok with you knowing but I don't think I'm ok with you spreading them around."
Celestine and Valeria both strongly opposed.
"Why does she get to know, but we don't?"
"Yeah! Tsukihi needs to tell us everything."
"Hey! Don't I get a right to privacy?"
"You're my... our fiance, you already forfeited all right on your body to us."
"I don't think it works that way"
"Yes it does."
"I think so too."
"Me too!!!"
"Doesn't that mean I have rights to all your bodies too. Can't I say you're not allowed to know?"
"You do, but this is not about us."
"Don't worry, It's not like you have anything to hide. I won't tell them things not about themselves. Plus, I already know how happy they'll be when they hear your thoughts!"
Yeah. This is my life now...I couldn't be more lucky.
He squeezed the girls even tighter. His life has just become that much more complicated.
"We'll talk about this later! Let's go home."
