Li Jia Yi feeling a bit awkward looked at Lu Hong's side profile enquiring
"I heard your dad came back few days ago"
Lu Hong stayed still for a moment before nodding he added
"Hmm, two weeks ago he thought me how to shoot"
"That muscle head, all he knew is fighting?"
Li Jia Yi remarked felling quiet frustrated and helplessness, Lu Hong chuckled softly and added
"He want me to enlist into the military and gave me a month to decide"
Li Jia Yi's darkened slightly but quickly composed herself but resolved herself not to let Lu Hong leave her side again, Lu Hong also senses Li Jia Yi's shift in demeanour. two hours later Lu Hong pulled thr car into the Sheng Tian palace drive way as the automatic doors opened Lu Hong dried into the parking lot.
After parking his car Lu Hong stepped out of the car and helped his mother out, Stepping into the elevator Lu Hong pressed 3rd floor as Lu Hong already arranged a room for his mother in advance. As the only guest room on the third floor pushed open Lu Hong turn on the lights with a snap of his figures.
The room was illuminated brightly as Lu Hong stepped as side letting Li Jia Yi admire herself. Li Jia Yi looked around as she saw that the room was fully equipped with bed desk bathroom along with self filled with books. An involuntary smile appeared on her face as she looked at Lu Hong with ful of effection.
After accompanying his mother with unpacking her luggage Lu Hong stepped downstairs and saw that they were only limited ingredients like eggs, tomatoes and bread along with somevrice left. Picking eggs and some tomatoes Lu Hong closed the refrigerator and started preparing lunch. First he washed the rice thoroughly and placing it in the cooker.
Next he chipped tomatoes into pieces before igniting the stove, half an hour later Lu Hong turned of the stove and placed a simple dish scrambled eggs with tomatoes into the plate. As he stepped out Lu Hong saw Li Jia Yi stepping downstairs, raising his head slightly Lu Hong invited her saying
"Would you like to have a bite?"
Li Jia Yi looked at Lu Hong and then at the dish he prepared before nodding in response, Lu Hong then took two bowls and filled them with rice. Stepping out ofbthe kitchen he placed them on the table along with two pairs of golden chopsticks. Sitting together at the same table Lu Hong and Li Jia Yi both lifted their chopsticks simultaneously and started eating as they talk.
Next day, Lu Hong called his homeroom teacher Ms. Bu and requested leave for which she agreed right away which made Lu Hong a bit puzzled. After taking care of his morning hygiene Lu Hong saw that his mother was still asleep and decided to take a morning run. After taking 5 laps around the back mountain Lu Hong went into the nearby grocery store and after securing the cart he stepped into the store.
Looking around he drought a meat, vegetables along with some fresh fish, Lu Hong even brought some fresh fruit and milk along with a case of water bottles. He even brought some soft drinks and beer, after placing them into his cart Lu Hong went to wards the drinks section and various red wine amd champagne bottles before making his way towards the billing counter.
As he took a step forward a voice came from behind,
"Lu Hong?"
feeling a bit perplexed Lu Hong turned around and saw Qi Quan carrying a case of beer along with some fresh meat amd some vegetables. Lu Hong smiled slightly amd he stepped forward
"Brother Qi what brings you here? If I remember correctly your Qi family estate was in the outskirts"
Qi Quan waved his hand responding
"I was here to visit my grand parent, after what happened with my brother and uncle they insist they want to stan near my cousins place. So, I brought a villa in the Sheng Tian community. What about you what are you doing here?"
"Ahh, i live in Sheng Tian palace since it's near the university"
Lu Hong spoke acting helpless, Qi Quan's eyes twitched slightly. Remembering something he changed the subject
"Aren't you also studying in the Magic city university?"
Lu Hong nodded as he looked at Qi Quan feeling a bit puzzled, Qi Quan then continued saying
"My cousin was also from magic city University of arts, in her 3rd year of college"
Lu Hong remembering Qi Quan talking about her a month prior nodded in response
"I see"
After that they exchanged few more words as it was already Lu Hong's turn to check out, taking a step forward Lu Hong placed all his item on the counter. After checking all the products she looked at Lu Hong momentarily mesmerized but composed herself saying
"Your total is 20,000"
Lu Hong nodded as he paid the bill in one go, with a successful payment prompt coming from the machine infront of the cashier. After placing the items in the plastic bags Lu Hong took the bill from cashier amd stepped out letting Qi Quan behind him check out. Both of them walked side by side until they arrived at the entrance of large gate with words Sheng Tian prominently depicted on the tip.
Lu Hong and Qi Quan went in separate ways at the entrance, Qi Quan turned around and looked at Lu Hong's retreating back for one more time before departing. In the Sheng Tian palace Lu Hong imputed his finger print as the fromt door opened with a click.
After changing his shoes into casual slippers Lu Hong raised his head and took a step forward and froze as he saw his mother was standing near the entrance looking at him intently. Lu Hong smiled slightly as he greeted Li Jia Yi
"Good morning mom you are up already"
Li Jia Yi shrugged helplessly before asking asking
"Where are you all morning"
Lu Hong blinked innocently as he looked at Li Jia Yi earnestly responding
"I took a walk around and brought some ingredients"
Li Jia Yi smiled as she ruffled Lu Hong hair affectionately saying
"Okay, then go and freshen up and let your mother showcase her cooking ability. Didn't you still have to go to school."
Lu Hong shook his head saying
"I took a leave and decided to accompany you today"
Li Jia Yi's lips rose up as she suppressed her joy and nodded in joy and happiness, Lu Hong without hesitation went upstairs to take shower. Meanwhile Li Jia Yi tied an apron around her waist and stared cooking by washing some vegetables.
In his room Lu Hong lay flat in the bathtub enjoying himself suddenly the phone beside him started ringing. Picking up the phone he saw it was Li Song Dong and answered the call.
Li Song Dong: Lu Shao I heard you took leavefor the day.
Lu Hong: Hmm, my mom came to Magic city on business. So, I took a day off to accompany her.
Li Song Dong: Good, Lu Xiao can you lend me 100,000 I lost a bet and my allowance for this month were nearly exhausted.
Lu Hong: sure, I will send you shortly. Is their anything else.
Li Song Dong thought for a minute before saying
Zhou shi Hai asked me to enquire if you are interested in participating in this year sports meet, Lu Hong didn't respond immediately instead enquired
"What benefits do I gain? "
Li Song Dong was paused on the other enday of the call not expecting Lu Hong to ask it and pondered for a moment before saying
"I heard the student who rank first in any one of the sport will be eligible for student council member spot for freshmen but you still have to go through final screening."
"Forget it, I will you guys know tomorrow"
Saying that he exchanged few pleasantries before hanging up, leaning back Lu Hong let out a long sigh before closing his eyes. Half an hour later Lu Hong stepped downstairs in simple black trousers and black shirt tugged into has pants as he deliberately removed upper two buttons open revealing his well structured collar.
Li Jia Yi who was bringing the last dish out stood frozen in spot as she was mesmerized by her own son. Lu Hong feeling a bit uncomfortable under Li Jia Yi's scrutiny and asked
"Did I do something wrong?"
Li Jia Yi seeing Lu Hong's flustered face can't help but chuckle softly before remarking
"You are so handsome and I can't help but doubt from whom did you take after"
Lu Hong let out a playful smile remarking
"Ofcourse it's you, how can i be this handsome if you're not that beautiful?"
Li Jia Yi rolled her eyes internally but her lips rose slightly unable to help but let out a slight chuckle. Lu Hong amd Li Jia Yi sat at the dinner table and had their breakfast while chatting about Lu Hong's past experiences. In the afternoon Lu Hong and Li Jia Yi went out shopping, whIle Lu Hong selected garments for Li Jia Yi she used her diamond card privileges to buy Lu Hong tomes of clothes and accessories far more extravagant that Lu Hong.
A week had passed Lu Hong spend his days accompanying his mother while attending classes. Next day the first day of military training. Lu Hong woke up to his biological clock and after freshening up he saw it was only 4 in the morning. After few rings the call went unanswered, placing his phone away Lu Hong started the car and went straight to Villa No 9. Ringing the door bell Soon a young man in his 30's opened the door, Lu Hong greeted the man
"Housekeeper Su, where is Zhou shi Hai"
"Young master Zhou was still sleeping?"
Su Ming said as he pointed towards upstairs, Lu Hong in hurry bypassed Su Ming amd directly ran upstairs. After knocking for a few times a lazy voice came from inside

The door to the room was opened from inside, as Zhou shi Hai's sleepy face came into the view. Raising his head Zhou shi Hai saw Lu Hong's handsome face, his sleepiness evaporated in an instant as he asked
"What are you doing here?"
Lu Hong rolled his eyes as he took his phone showed his screen towards Zhou shi Hai responding
"What time is it?"
"5:30"
Zhou shi Hai responded as he scratched his head in confusion, Lu Hong sighed in resignation explaining
"Today was the first day of military training and your still here sleeping soundly"
Zhou shi Hai's eyes widened first shock then realization finally a panic hit his as he dashed in not even bothering to close the door. Lu Hong shook his head and called Song Zi Sheng and Li Song Dong only to find both of them are already on their was to the university. He sighed in relief before making himself comfortable in the living room.
5 minutes later Zhou shi Hai still half dressed ran downstairs as he stuffed two buns Su Ming prepared before dashing out. Lu Hong also stepped out as two car drow away from the villa No 9, in just 20 minutes both ofthem reached the campus. Since the playground was near Westgate Lu Hong decided to park at west parking lot.
After locking the car Lu Hong and Zhou shi Hai ran towards the playground, thanks to both of them being athletic they reached the gathering area in just 2-3 minutes. Bu Zou Ling standing infront of Finance class checked time on her watch her brows furrowed. seeing both of them Bu Zou Ling glared at them but didn't say anything since they were already at time.
Soon three large trucks drow into the ground as 15 mem and a women disembarked of three trucks. Under the guidance of teachers the military officers are arranged to each class, a women with fair completion and captivating face walked towards the Finance class under the guidance of Bu Zou Ling amd another male teacher.
The women looked at the crowd with cold indifference as if everyone here was under her feet. Bu Zou Ling standing beside the women stepped forward amd introduced her to the class.
"Dear students, this ID Ms. Gong your military instructor for next two months"
Saying that she walked away taking shelter under the tree shade, Gong Liu Yi raised her head slightly and looked at the student infront as she coldly remarked.
"5 laps around the playground. You guys had 20 minutes"
The students from the Finance exchanged glances confusion written on everyone's face, but Lu Hong standing at the end 0f the lime exchanged glances with his three roommates.
"Finamce class 2 on to the track"
Lu Hong shouted as hetook the lead, With this shout everyone came to their senses as they followed Lu Hong. Class 2 was the first followed by class 4, 1, 5 and 3, 6. Gong Liu Li raised her eye brow in surprise.
