And he did… at first.

She held the small, wooden chopsticks delicately between her fingers, the piece of heavily seasoned meat dripping a thick, savory red sauce back onto the porcelain plate and Koya didn't hesitate. 


He leaned his weight forward and opened his mouth, letting her put it directly inside. The chopsticks clicked softly against his teeth.


He closed his lips around it, pulled the meat off the wood and then he chewed down, the rich, spicy flavor of the garlic and chili sauce coating his tongue.


"This is pretty good stuff, thank you, Mio…" Koya said, swallowing the heavy bite.


His casual praise immediately made the girl blush as a warm crimson spread across her pale cheeks. He turned his head slightly as the dining room lights caught her face..
