even his massive, over-four-meter build seemed especially small.
He extended a forepaw.
His palm pressed against the door.
A cold sensation surged in,
making his heart tighten in an instant.
Then he began to exert force—
trying to push it open.
In Shiko's eyes, a spark of hope and anticipation ignited.
To have reached this point
meant that on the path of ordinary Pokémon,
he had already advanced to nearly the absolute limit.
As long as he could push this door open…
he would step into a brand-new realm—the realm of Legendary Pokémon.
The muscles in his forelimbs bulged.
Shiko used every last bit of strength.
He even drew out the vast Dragon-type energy and Steel-type energy he had accumulated within him,
coiling and releasing it together.
With terrifying physical power,
backed by violently surging energy—
Shiko had already pushed himself to his limit.
Yet even so…
that heavy pitch-black door did not move in the slightest.
It didn't even open the tiniest crack.

as long as he evolved into WarGreymon,
