He thought the lord of the Black City would say something else, or try to negotiate with those giant Skeletons.
But he didn't expect that guy to show such no surrender at all, immediately preparing for battle.
"Arrogant! Catherine, you should know that the Swarm is awakening. We Skeletons are only acting on the order of a certain Lord," the Tiger Skeleton shouted, his voice thick with threats.
Catherine, the lord of the Black City, gave the Tiger Skeleton a cold look.
Her face was covered by a black mask, so no expression could be seen, but her eyes burned with determination. She replied:
"Even if a mid-tier Demon God, a high-tier Demon God, or even a Supreme God descends, I will stand up to them."
"The rules of the Black City will only change after I am dead."
"No Abyss creature that enters the Black City's range is allowed to harm anyone. Here, fighting and killing are strictly forbidden!"
