Nagas brought barrels of fermented kelp wine. Coral tables groaned under platters of grilled abalone and steamed sea-fruit. Warriors laughed and clinked cups made from polished shells. The palace that had been silent for decades finally breathed again.
But Lin Tian's attention was elsewhere.
Mira swam to his side and touched his wrist. "There is a place," she said. "The Spring of Eternal Seas. It is where Naga royalty bonds with their consorts. The water there remembers every union that came before."
Lin Tian looked at her. "And you want to take me there?"
