He pushed forward, slowly.
The head of his length pressed against her, and she was so wet, so impossibly hot. He felt her inner muscles clench around him, a reflexive tightness that made him groan.
He kept his eyes on her face, watching every flicker of emotion. Her own eyes were wide, pupils blown black with desire, but there was a shadow of fear there too, the healer in her worried about the physics of their union.
"It's okay," he murmured, his voice rough.
He inched forward another fraction. The heat was intense, a focused furnace that should have scalded him.
Instead, his Fire-Resistant Veins absorbed the surge, converting the aggressive energy into a warm, buzzing current that spread through his limbs. It felt incredible.
