Chapter 288 - ★ 287 (STAR WARS VII, IN THE BEGINNING XXIII)

★287

ACAMAR'S POV

During our meeting, I formally introduced the new title of Hypergods, Stars who would serve as the Omni commanders. Of course, this title cannot be earned freely; one must meet the strict requirements to awaken as one.

And what are Hyperworlds? They are the Worlds housed within the Nest. In time, Belenos proposed that the Nest itself could be regarded as a Hyperworld, though only as a structure containing the true Hyperworlds within it.

As His Grace decreed, the Inaccessible Cardinal Laws were applied to the Hyperworlds, and they took hold. For the first time, Major Concepts such as space and time manifested.

Yet the Nests & older Hyperworld, which had existed since the dawn of creation, inherited the characteristics of their Drops, and thus these Concepts were ultimately predated or transcended.

Those Hyperworlds were too potent to be governed by such limitations. And said Nests were mostly inhabited by those O-Class Stars or left to be a testing ground.

The Nest then arranged the new Hyperworlds into a hierarchy it deemed fitting. The principle was simple: a Hyperworld that transcended the imposed Laws and Concepts would stand at the top, followed by those beneath it.

Despite subtle variations between them, the Worlds at the summit could never be overthrown by those below. They possessed traits almost identical to the Nest that contained them.

Thus, the highest Hyperworld viewed all those beneath it as lesser worlds, destined always to remain below it. (R > F). This arrangement was established by the Nest itself, thanks to our Order.

With the passage of eras, new Stars were born within the Hyperworlds, while others fled from their Drops to begin anew.

From the beginning of the B-Class, an Azurer named Adhara was born, the first to be recognised as a Hypergod. Within less than a million years, I was informed by the First Light that both God's Judgement and God's Grace had chosen him.

He was no ordinary Star. Even I, with all my authority, could only access two Supreme Arts through God's Will, one of which functioned merely as a sub-Art. Yet Adhara held both physically. Through these two Arts, he ascended to the Omni Tier in less than one hundred million years after his birth. What an anomaly.

I was summoned to the throne room shortly after appointing Adhara, also known as Sabaki, the God of Judgement, into the Omni Tier. There, the First Light informed me of the imminent birth of a third Twin Star. Naively, I believed I could influence its coming.

From the knowledge granted to me, the First Light revealed that this being's existence would determine the balance between the Dark Stars and the Stars. In strength, it would surpass even the first two Twin Stars. Hard to believe, yet as the Creator said, I accepted it in silence and kept that prophecy close to my heart.

Perhaps, in Grace's eyes, "soon" was but a minute of divine time for I waited through countless Classes, yet the foretold being never appeared.

I asked, but the only words that ever came from Him were "He is about to be born." And then finally, just when I was about to lose hope, it appeared born into the weakest generation ever created, the M-Class.

Stars of M-Class live in an atmosphere similar to that of humans, the only difference being their Divinity. Out of every hundred, the chance of one being capable of destroying even a single planet was but one-half of one per cent. Utterly weak, yet I didn't despise them. This was merely His words taking shape.

As I sat within the Garden, a new signature appeared, above the Sacred Realm entirely. Even O-Class Omnis seldom approached those places but he chose that as his spawning ground, marking his first anomalous trait.

I was about to approach him when I received a command: summon Elara and let her nurse the child. I was strictly forbidden to see him, let alone touch him.

Without question, I obeyed. Elara took him away.

To this day, I have never made eye contact with him. Even the day I saved him from Sabaki, I merely released my presence strong enough to drive the God of Judgement away. Even then, I shut down my senses completely while he tried to speak to me.

Now that his own Creator seeks his destruction, I realise I may never get the chance to say it, to say "hi" to The Third.

"See you later, Antares."

I murmured, seated at the edge of the Garden, watching the still waters of the Pond ripple under the silent light, Algol completely erased.
